Talking Behind the Counter

Hey guys!

I like to think I'm a fairly seasoned Bokumono player, so I make it a point to talk to everyone in town after farm chores are finished for the day. However, in this game, shopkeepers give you the message not to bother them when you talk to them behind the counter. Does talking to them while they have this message still give you the daily FP for the day? It's silly but I can't help but think that I'm bothering them;;
