Ushi No Tane Forum

So I know you can have other peoples' characters in-game as npc if you street pass them, but how/can you get them from multiplayer? I just got my first one today after playing on multiplayer and I'm not sure how I got this one random person. I'm just curious cause I've played a bit of multiplayer and this is the first time its happened

Hmmm....that's a good question...I honestly have no idea. I have NPCs in my game too, but not really sure how it works haha. Now I'm curious too lol

Yes, people you play with online show up.

While people you play with online do show up, the game has two save files, and only one of the two is allowed to transmit via StreetPass and Multiplayer - so if you see someone you never played with OR got through StreetPass, it is just their alternate farmer.

Thank you all for answering! It was bugging me all day where this random person came from but I'm now sure it was someone's alt. farmer.

Then again, I once helped someone move some items between files, and both farmers appear around my town from time to time. Sometimes at the same time.

You have me curious and actually look out for these NPCs in my game now lol

Haha well at least I'm not the only one curious now. I was just so excited because this was my first npc farmer but then I realized I had never played with them before. Then I just had to find out where they came from
