Accidental Combo??

I have just moved from summer to autumn (fall) but my corn did not wither while the other corps did. Does anyone know why?
I initially thought it may have been an accidental combo as I have several objects on my farm however the other summer crops withered.

If it is fully grown it shouldn't wither. Right?

Here's the combos that have "Wither Defense". I'm not sure exactly what the combos do, and I'm not sure if they even work, and they might only apply to the wither rate on Golden Crops, but...
Autumn/Winter Wither Defense: 5x Mammoth Topiary
Spring/Summer Wither Defense: 5x Lion Topiary
Crop Wither Rate Down: 3x Snow Maiden w/Shield and 3x Maiden w/Shield

The nearest thing to those combos that I had out on my farm at the time were one maiden w/shield and one maiden w/sword
