Growth test: Public field + watering twice

I've been wondering how much faster crops grow when you water them twice a day or plant them on a public field, and the effect it has when doing both. I've used Radish and Broccoli. Seeds were planted on Day 1 and watered (twice) on the same day.

When looking at the Radish charts below you can see that crop 7 (planted on the farm) has been watered twice a day. It took 4 days to grow exactly as displayed on the seed bag, whilst crop 14 (planted on the public field) which has also been watered twice only took 3 days to grow.

Crop 8 (planted at the public field) has only been watered once each day, but due to the public field bonus it only took 4 days to grow. Whilst crop 1 (planted on the farm) took all 5 days to grow.

I also looked at Broccoli since it takes longer to grow. When looking at the charts below you'll notice that crop 13 (planted on the farm) actually took 8 days to grow, rather than the 9 displayed on the seed bag. Crop 26 however took 7 days to grow which makes sense because it took the bonus from the public field along with the double watering. Crop 1 took 11 days and crop 14 took 9 days to grow, as displayed correctly on the seed bag.

I hoped to discover a percentage of growth improvement depending on the amount of water you had given but I'm not thát good at mathematics. It's however useful to know (and have proven) that, when a crop gets both the bonus from watering twice and the public field, it will grow twice as fast as the difference between the [blank] to [blank] days displayed at the seed bag.

Crops and flowers advance to the next stage when they get a certain number of water points (denoted WP in the following). The number of WP a given crop/flower needs to mature can be computed by multiplying the greatest number of days told in the seed description x100. E.g., a turnip needs a total of 500 WP. Once it gets 300 or more, it will go from seed to intermediate stage. When it gets 500 or more, it will mature.

Watering gives you the following amount of WP:

In your farm. First watering: +100 WP. Water a second time: +50 WP.

In the public field. First watering: +125 WP. Water a second time: +50 WP.

If you have the double watering combo active, then you just get 150/175 WP by watering once.

The ferris wheel gives +200 WP each day.

Don't forget that if you have the double watering combo active, you have to stay up 12 hours after you woke up for the "second watering" points kick in. If you wake up at 6:00, you have to stay awake (or nap) on that same day until 18:00.

I think it is not necessary to wait. I checked by watering and going to sleep immediately and my daikon matured in 4 days instead of 5.

I am surprised to learn there is something called Water Points. Thank you for sharing this information with me, which enables me to understand crop growth even better.
