Easiest fertlizer

I'm planning to start using fertilizer to level my crops and trees. Am I better off using weeds or branches? A lot of small lumber is used to craft items, but so are weeds when it comes to bushes.

I myself use weeds. I feel like the twigs are more important to have for me

Definitely weeds.
Also, it's really cheap at the general store. So make sure to buy Otmar's daily supply.

I just buy it at the general store, but yes, go with the weeds.

and buy all of Otmar's fertilizer stock every day he's open. It's been enough, usually

I mainly buy all the fertilizer from Otmar’s store however when I have run out I use weeds and if I have run out of weeds I use a few twigs until Otmar is open. This only happened when I was fertilizing a lot of crops however; I have now levelled most normal crops and trees apart from a couple of crops and 2 trees that I am still working on.

I just buy fertilizer, since I focus on one or 2 5* crops at a time... it's been enough, and I've got most 5* ed.
