Apparently snow doesn't affect your animals since it doesn't count as rain. So basically, during winter I can leave my animals outside all the time? Give that I have a feeder present of course. Not sure how I'd feed the rabbits though.
Also, when the weather forecast hasn't predicted rain for the next day. Can I leave my animals outside the entire night? Or will this increase their stress level?
Cows during winter (and night)
Don't ever leave animals outside. Chickens and rabbits will not produce outside and all animals will get very pissy at you very quickly. Animals belong inside every single night.Yuuki_ wrote:Apparently snow doesn't affect your animals since it doesn't count as rain. There is a blueprint for outside feeders for both chickens and rabbits. These are not meant to let you leave animals outside over night. They are meant to be used for the animals to feed when your dogs herd them out at 6AM on their own and they haven't fed inside yet. Animals eat at 7AM. Fully trained dogs herd when you get up.
