Idea I've had for a new HM title

First, if this is in the wrong section, please inform me.
The new Harvest Moon title is sort of a combination of A Wonderful Life and Save the Homeland.
The basis of the game is to save Forget-Me-Not Valley from being turned into a mega-mall - by befriending villagers, finding valuable objects, etc.
You are not being forced to get married, but it is a requirement for two endings.
The endings I came up so far are:
Donald's World of Science - First, befriend Donald (Daryl's son); later he will inform you he has been invited to appear on a television show that educates children about science (like Mr. Wizard.) He asks you to come in and turn on his machinery every day at 5:00 AM and turn it off at 10:00 PM. Do as he asks, and he returns, telling you the show made enough money via sponsors to save the valley.
William's Dig - befriend William (the nephew of Carter, the archaeologist); he eventually tells you he needs you to continue digging the site while he goes and reports his findings. Dig at his site daily and put the findings into a special crate. He returns and reveals the site and the valley are now protected by the government!
The Beauty Contest - you need to be married to Sapphire (Muffy's daughter); eventually the two of you will learn about a beauty pageant; Sapphire could win it with a little coaching! She'll need encouragement about her posture and cooking to win (being Muffy's daughter, she has the bathing suit segment sewn up!)
The Will - marry or befriend Lucy (Lumina's daughter); she knows that her great-grandmother Ramona owned quite a bit of property in Forget-Me-Not Valley. The records were stored in the basement of the town hall at the time (it is now the Inner Inn.) Befriend the operators of the inn enough to be allowed down there, find the will, and that saves the valley.
The Final Story - my personal favorite, because it introduces a new bachelorette! First, meet the new character, Dora Wynne (a.k.a. "Darwin"), by saving her from the town delivery stage (she is standing in the middle of the street taking pictures for a newspaper article on the valley.) Show her the valley, and teach her the customs. Her story becomes so heartfelt that it literally causes enough people to rally against the amusement park being build there.
However, one of the customs is the blue feather, and you end up married to her.
