On Hoshido/Nohr siblings relationship + early Birthright spoilers

I'm on chapter 26 of Birthright but I still find the Hoshido siblings' relationship bland compared to Nohr sibs'. Granted, I haven't played Conquest so idk how the Hoshido siblings are portrayed there. But in Birthright, Nohr sibs relationship is highlighted more imo. They always refer to each other in the dialogue while the Hoshido siblings are more like, "We're with you Corrin!" "We won't leave you Corrin!" without much reference to actually each other. I know there's a bit of emotional drama during the part where Ryoma and Takumi go missing buuut idk I'm still more affected by the Nohr sibs' situation.
I'm on chapter 26 of Birthright now and I don't want it to end yet! I know there's still Conquest and Revelations but I still can't download because crappy dorm wifi is crappy T_T

No need to apologize at all, no worries. Not trying to silence opinions or anything, just preemptively reiterating the thread rules, that's all.
Bias is pretty strong usually for whichever side/cast you like more, so it's always going to be a bit of a topic that can cause heated disagreements pretty easily.
On that note, Revelation came out today! Anyone picking it up?
Oooookay. I'm at the branch of fates and about to play the Hoshido side. I had no idea it would be this hard the second time around, hah. ;;
My heart is breaking I just want to go back home to Nohr. I love my Nohr fam.

Also it's cool that Revelation is out now! But I won't be playing it for a while heh.
I'm nearing the end of Revelation, got about 2 chapters left. Taking a break to get some kids and do the rest of MaCorrin's supports.
It's... Okay. It seems to have the same problems I had with the other routes in that it doesn't really live up to its potential.

The story is really jumpy, it spends half its time repeating some of the same story beats (and just throwing a million units at you) of the other campaigns because you need to get everyone before you get to Valla. That was pretty understandable, but I don't really get how or why they dropped the ball so hard when you finally do get to Valla. The actual plot progression slows to a halt, in favor of following the only living person you meet in Valla who totally isn't a trap, and the game bringing back all the dead people from before Chapter 6. This was interesting enough with Arete's first appearance, since she's Azura's mother.
But then you have to fight her again on the very next chapter. And oh look, surprise, Scarlet's there too!
And then you have to fight Mikoto.
And then you have fight Sumeragi.
It get's old. Very quickly.
It all just feels like the developers had no idea what to do with the time in between getting to Anankos, so they just padded up the storyline so that the game wouldn't end so quickly. I'm at Chapter 25, and I feel like I know barely anything about Valla other than that this is where some of the most important characters in the game originated from. Oh and it has a curse so you can't talk about it outside it. You'd think they'd want to spend some time actually filling in some of the backstory of the kingdom.
A lot of this may have to do with fatigue since I've been through nearly 3 games at this point, but I really felt like they could've done a lot more with Rev than they did.
It'll still probably be my most played version since it's the most convenient way to get nearly every support though. Hoshido x Nohr supports have all been pretty great so far, on the plus side.
As for gameplay, it's not as good as Conquest, and a lot of the chapters feel even more gimmicky than Conquest's did at times. I really can't think of any maps that were enjoyable here, unlike Conquest and even Birthright. Also the unit balancing is pretty bad. Units will join you with no regard for what point in the game you're at, so you have to deal with weird situations like Hinoka and Odin joining unpromoted when nearly all of your units and enemies are promoted at this point.
Almost done with birthright (just trying to grind out a few more special parents x kid supports) and this is how my pairing line up turned out

I'm at chapter 24 of Conquest and, frankly, i do not like the difficulty. I'm more than likely going to marry Azura in my only Conquest file and do a quick female file for Fem!Corrin's A support with Azura.
I accidentally saved over my first file ever that I spent 50+ hours on. I freaking loved my family in that file....! Azama was unstoppable, Mitama was this tank healer, and Kanna and I were the killer dragon duo.
Not sure if i'll get over this any time soon. I tired drawing Mitama to cheer myself up, BUT IT JUST MAKES ME WANT HER BACK EVEN MORE.

I did that with my Awakening file and still can not really start it over.
So far I'm getting the children I'm prepared for. It wasn't planned because I wanted to do more support grinding, but some fathers and mothers I haven't been paying attention to so support grinding them is pointless. Here is the list of my pairings for this file of Conquest:

It was tough choosing between Leo and Benny for Charlotte, but this will be as much patience as I have for Conquest and I'll get the rest of the children in Revelations.
Playing Birthright and I want to see supports with everyone. Usually I try to only see a few different supports with each character, so I have more to try out and explore on later playthroughs, but everyone is adorable and I want to pair everyone with everyone.
I didn't do that so much in Conquest because it was harder to get supports in general, but here that's not really the case!

Seeing Leo in Izumo broke my heart a little.
I feel like choosing to side with Nohr is the easier decision. I could just be saying that because I played it first, but telling the family you grew up with that after a few days vacationing with your new fam you decided you never want to leave is rough. Especially when they came after you with swords afterwards.

Niles x Nina support ended up better but Nina is still a bit too moody teeny for my tastes. Niles is a good dad though and handled it very maturely, with one minor exception
