Same! I feel like they were just watching on the sidelines... I haven't even played Conquest but the Nohr siblings really grew on me during the first chapters (before branch of fates) and the ending chapters of Birthright. Takumi has the best lines during the ending though

So I finally finished my Hoshido Hard/Casual, no grind run. Went pretty well! My avatar was super OP by the end of it though, holy « Puppy Doodoo ». I didn't really have any sturdy units; they were pretty much all high spd dodge tanks which was a lot of fun (but super nervewracking at the same time)

I finished the map in two turns, lol. I bumrushed Garon and killed him in one turn with crits and Astra. He had 0 hit on my MC and didn't stand a chance. Going to go with a similar build (SPD instead of STR though) on Nohr since they have more bulky units over there.
My MVPs were Kaze, Kaden, Sakura, Hana, Oboro, Takumi, Selkie, Kana, Izana and Ryouma.
I like the Hoshido siblings, but I wasn't very attached to them either. The story was fine for me, a little cheesy, but ends well enough. Still way better than Awakening imo lol
Tbh that's the most lewd thing I've heard him say so far, And while that comment was super gross, the supports were solid and niles makes a good, albeit crude and inappropriate sometimes, dad.
Most conquest supports are pretty meh to me so far, but omfg @ Ignatius x velouria c.
I finished Conquest today! I also deleted my file, but I plan to go back to it and have a proper file of it once I've gone through Revelations and thought out my couples. I might just have it be a Birthright file, never really know. Compared to Birthright, I liked the characters more, but I'm giving the easier gameplay and better story to Birthright. At least Birthright explained

Chapter 10 Conquest was soooo fun! Took me awhile, but did it with zero deaths. Arrhur ended up with like 1 HP by the last turn. I swear using him is like playing Russian roulette with how crazy his RNG is.
On Chapter 24 of Birthright! I know spoilers and am mentally bracing myself sigh. My kid units are all super leveled and just as formidable as some of my main units. Ryoma x Kagero continue to OWN half the map every time I bring them out, with Scarlet x MC owning the other half jfc.

Mitama x Dwyer started out strange but is getting better. Shigure and Sophie hit S Support and wow they are cute! Their entire support chain was being kind to each other and supportive, so it was a super sweet S support for them. They fight REALLY well together. Sophie is just as much of a tank as her dad, wow.
Still need to S support Midori x Kiragi, who continue to be cute mountain climbers together.
Shiro x Selkie is surprisingly cute! They argue over how to prepare meat, which is hilarious.
Last but not least is Hisame x Rhajat, which is them being cute and making tea together and Hisame teaching Rhajat to lighten up, which WOW she needs, so yay!
Almost everyone is paired! Lol Kana is forever alone and I haven't used her much at all. I may use her a bit with the MC to train her up and then reclass her to something sturdier.
Question regarding the Dragonstone: I never used the dragon form with my MC, who is so speedy and strong that he's more ridiculously overpowered with the sword. I'm wondering if it's worth my time to train up with the Dragonstone and if that's a better option long term (say, when I do my Nohr run). What are your experiences with the Dragonstone vs the MC's sword as the main weapon?
I finally finished recruiting all the kids. I have level up Azama, Rinkah and Hayato so it took a while.
Those Paralogues were really something. @_@ I have one map that I soft reseted so often because the kid's AI seems want to die before I could talked to them. I can't wait to go on with the story and I can't to see the sibling support for my two little boys. They're just too adorable together! I'm just a bit sad that I will be leaving one kid without S Support though. T-T

I only equip it in the beginning chapters when I need to be a bit tankier. At least for my avatar's build, it becomes useless by mid-game. Will entirely depend on what you're aiming for.
I've used it a bit more on Conquest than on Birthright so far, but not by much, so I wouldn't worry about it unless you specifically want to use it.

Haha basically? Subaki's first support convo with Caeldori is realizing she will easily surpass him as "MOST PERFECT ONE" and being kind of uncomfortable with her enthusiasm and dismissal of her own accomplishments. So in the C support with Corrin it turns out Subaki was like "omg Corrin is such an inspiration to me you should tots learn from him!" because Caeldori was driving him nuts asking him five million questions he couldn't answer
I actually want to see more of the child supports with their parents! Shiro with Ryoma and Kagero especially - I love the development between him and his dad, and Kagero saying 'dude your dad does love you he just expresses it in a different way' was really neat. Curious to see more of the family supports, they're pretty great so far!

Ahhhh okay, so it's not necessarily better but can be helpful depending on your build. I usually go for speedy/strength characters so I haven't needed it this playthrough, but might use it more during Conquest...
Yeah, the last two maps were pretty easy. I wish they would've given us a save prompt at the end, I got so many levels on those maps...
My final kids S-rank pairings were Hisame x Caeldori (we are RESPONSIBLE GROWN UPS), Midori x Kiragi (cute mountain climbers is pretty accurate, but honestly "supplement Kiragi's near 100% de facto crit rate with insane luck boost" is more appropriate for why they're so good), and Asugi x Selkie (hilarious, they're definitely the type of couple to « Cow Poopoo » talk each other the whole way through every game they play).
Got Dwyer and Mitama to A but never saw their S. Sophie, Shigure and Shiro were all forever alone (C and B rank with a few different people). I married Rhajat -- I did grind out her supports with Dwyer, though, which were hilarious. (Didn't see S rank because married.)
My husband and I have now swapped games so I'm now through Chapter 7 of Conquest. So far, these maps are not THAT hard, I don't know what he was complaining about. (We both played both games on Casual - Normal.) But, I'm sure they will get a lot harder.
My Birthright character was Emurii, and was a great protag, but I'm not super in love with my Conquest character. I did a male file this time, and his name is Rudy. His headcanon personality is very easy going, kind of aloof, cheerful guy... which has been pretty funny so far given the serious story. (Also, playing with this personality in mind makes his supports with Silas a lot funnier.)

Comforting to hear Conquest isn't so bad after finishing Birthright. I gotta say I'm a little nervous to play after some of these maps in Birthright (imagining defense for these makes it seem even harder oy).
