Asugi is very cute (I married Gaius in Awakening though so obvs biased). I never tried him with Mitama - I'll have to just grind out every single support in Revelation, haha.

Arthur and Felicia are PERFECT together and I LOVE THEM, but I'm only just past Chapter 9! I can't decide my ships yet! Also, is it just me or do supports grind much more easily in this game? I already have a bunch of B levels. Maybe because there are much fewer characters?
Birthright Supports

It's weird. I love Gaius in Awakening, but I don't like Asugi all that much in Fates. Maybe it was his confession and S Rank Support, but it all felt like a joke to me. His Japanese confession is just SO good and his English confession is about wanting to celebrate our union with the BIGGEST. CAKE. EVER. I just couldn't take it. Gaius's confession was also about his sweetness obsession, but it sounded so sweet!
Early Conquest Supports

I SHIP THEM SO MUCH! Arthur and Felicia are perfect for each other and their S support was SO cute and funny.
While I like quite a few of them...a lot of the characters' proportions seem...really off? Also what is with those odd view tilts. Orz

Azura and maybe Kaze then? Dunno. Azura is basically a lock-in because the devs love her, but the dude is a mystery.
Also if they don't do the royals (which I'm hoping they don't because they already got fanservice DLC) it would be something like Jakob and Niles, Oboro and Flora. Plus two extras which I would guess would be maybe Kaze and Azura.
If the royals are in, it's going to be Leo and Xander, Camilla and Oboro.
Ok, so this one was harder. I had to play twice -- the first time I got 1 turn away from the end, had visited all the houses, and then someone freaking walked into a space I thought had been blocked off and game overed me. On my second run I decided to be much more defensive and guard stance all of the spots you have to protect, but that resulted in anyone who wasn't on those spots dying and me only visiting 2 houses out of the 4. It felt kind of lame that this strategy worked, but I guess if you were just starting out playing the game it would be a lot harder.
Camilla is a beast, looking forward to using her. I really love Beruka's design, something tells me she's my new Setsuna. I didn't have much of a chance to use Selena because she was guarding a spot.
Niles has a talent - a talent for dying. He dies on every single map. It's awful.
Something tells me I'll be grinding a lot more Boo Camp soon.

Honestly not nearly as content with these choices as my Birthright file. I rushed it and decided the pairs too late in the night and should've done Percy x Midori and Shigure x Nina cause the Percy x Midori was super cute and the better pair, but Percy x Nina was the only pair I saw where it focused more on her social awkwardness and less jokes of her dude obsession/fetish. Shigure x Nina wouldn't have been a bad alternative (Shigure actually has a lot of nice supports!) but ah well

First Xander cuts Elise down while you're fighting, then the collective freak out... then Xander's like "NO FIGHT ME ANYWAY" (brownie points to Corring going '« What The Eggplant »??? Elise's literal dying wish was to NOT do this?!!!'), and then you take Xander down.
I knew most of the spoilers beforehand but this chapter still hit hard. You're watching the eldest brother figure cut down his youngest sister, and then in his grief he basically asks you to take him out of his misery. His dying words are about how he felt powerless to stop or change anything. Holy « Cow Poopoo » the Nohr family in Birthright is so broken and sad I just ;A;
And I mean, it makes you wonder. Hoshido's siblings seem pretty well adjusted, but their dad didn't go on some crazy pants rampage trying to kill people and their mom is a beacon of kindness and light. Imagine how the Hoshido siblings would react if it was THEIR father starting wars and killing people left and right, and I can totally see Ryoma acting similar to Xander... and I shudder to think how Takumi would take any of this.
Just... auuugh my feels ;A; I haven't even played Conquest yet and I love the Nohr siblings and totally get why Xander stayed trying to do his duty as the Nohr prince...

This never changes. Both him and Kaze are at advanced levels and do zero damage to everything AND die constantly.

Ughhh. It must have to do with weapon proficiencies...? My Kaze was pretty solid in Birthright...
Only had time for two Boo Camps last night, didn't even get many supports, but got everyone leveled up to 11 at least (my levels range from 11-15) except Azura and Mozu, who are both level 5.
I finally beat Conquest! While there were some elements of the story that were...lacking I actually really liked the finale. Now I'm playing Birthright and all the exp and gold is amazing.
Regarding the first generation's cgs

I actually died on my first try with the map because Xander crit me (with a 6% I think crit rate srsly??? haha) so I had to reset. But yeah, I finished it in two turns too. I checked the stats of all the enemies in the room, and Xander's was the lowest. Like, the generic enemy units were at 140/150ish but Xander's was only at 110-120 I hate how easy the last two chapters are, at the expense of Xander and Elise T_T
Xander barely did ANY damage to me, and the grand battle feel of the map got the wind sucked out it because of that.
