I have a few questions

1.
Spoiler:
In the safari, is it possible to watch animals eat out of the feeder? I have the boar and the monkey and I can't get either of them to eat so I don't know how much they like the gifts. The monkey's FP has definitely gone up, since it doesn't run from me anymore. Is there a way to view their reactions?
Andy wrote:1. Not as far as I know. I could very possibly be wrong, though. You can see their reactions to the food by throwing it at THEM, not at the feeder. They'll go eat it from the floor and an icon will appear over their head.
Now I'm curious as to whether you can effectively double the FP gain with the land animals in the safari by both filling the feeder and throwing food at them?

2.
Spoiler:
Is it possible to tell exactly how much someone likes you? I got Eda's FP up to the point where she would give me hearts if I pressed the L button. I kept gifting her with simmered potatoes every day even though I'm pretty sure I maxed her FP out by the third week of Autumn (I had saved about 30 from spring just for her). Is there nothing to denote that you've reached max affection? I ask because on the Story of Seasons Help Guide page about the Farm Degree, it says you get some bonus farm degree points for reaching maximum FP with your farm animals and villagers.
OP wrote:It seems the general consensus is that once the hearts show up, then FP is at its maximum.
3. Lastly, on the television, one of the Oak Tree Tips episodes said I could display items made in the pottery studio in my home. How would I do that, or was the TV wrong?
Oak Tree Tips wrote:Today, we're going to touch on a very useful facility: the Pottery Studio! In the Pottery Studio, you can create colorful pots and dishes out of clay and earth. If you put them up for display in your house, you'll feel all well-to-do, so go ahead and put your artistry to use!

That's all for now, but tune in next time when we dish up more Oak Tree Tips!

1. Not as far as I know. I could very possibly be wrong, though. You can see their reactions to the food by throwing it at THEM, not at the feeder. They'll go eat it from the floor and an icon will appear over their head.

2. There is no way to know exactly how much someone likes you. The Left Shoulder indicator is the only way to know approximate FP with normal villagers. I BELIEVE, AS IN, I DON'T REALLY KNOW, the game considers FP maxed when you reach hearts.

Andy, thank you for your answers! I'm going to try feeding the safari animals that way soon. :lala:

Yeah. For the second question, the only way to check the FP, is to press the left shoulder button on your 3DS. When the marker over their head is floating hearts, you've reached the FP limit.

I think the feeder is used when you happen to visit at the time where the animals are not outside (as in night time). Plus the feeder is the only way you can feed the animals living inside the pond since you can't throw their food into the pond.

For the pottery products, I think the 'display' method will be just throw the items onto floor or choose "place" in the menu. Since things don't disappear when being on ground, it will stay there as long as you don't take it. This enables some creative decorations such as lining up cakes & fish on the floor :D I have my Dried Cactus next to my closet for almost 1 season.
