I'm in summer of my first year and I'm trying to trigger her first event. Cher's guide says she should have 1000 fp, and 150 rp.

I've given her 7 300 point gifts, and talked to her every day. She should be well above 1000 fp.

And I read that you get 10 rivalry points a day for shipping, and 100 if you unlock a new vendor. I've definitely shipped stuff more than 5 days, and I unlocked a vendor, so I should also be well over the necessary rival points too.

I've walked into her house every day at 13:00 and still nothing. Weather is sunny. She just eats...

What am I doing wrong???

try waiting until she's done eating, then go outside and come back in. if that doesn't work, keep shipping things and trying every day. sometimes events can be stubborn.

Thanks Kam. I've done the waiting until she's through eating thing more than once. I'll keep shipping. It just feels like the time for her events is running out.

Time is not running out. I triggered it on summer 22nd and I gave 0 gifts. Just keep in contact with the vendors every day and you will be fine. The other events should follow each other rapidly. And before you know it you are done and you'll still have to work 15 days before winter starts.

Half of me knows it isn't, but the other part wants to get them done. I know why they made them this way: to keep you from sleeping through the first year.

Which I REALLY considered, haha. But I want to see her events at least once and don't know if I want a second file yet.

Summer 27th, just triggered her last event.

I finally got the first one after 15 days of trading. I guess unlocking Cabin Country didn't get me 100 points after all... 15 days of trading is 150 points.

But I won a field conquest that she was in so I now have 250 of the 300 necessary for the next event. I'll make it. I'm sure of it now.

It should be easier once you hit fall. In many ways XD

So do you think the 100 points for unlocking Cabin Country did count but the game is just being stubborn??? It's so hard to say with this one, at least for me. I usually keep a log of points like this for events but it's throwing me off without knowing whether or not I'm actually getting points for the vendor unlock.

Stubborn? Perhaps. I do admit that I sometimes have trouble triggering events XD
