I was wondering if I needed to continue giving some of my animals their designated treat once they reached full hearts and 5* products. I guess i'm wondering if I stop giving them treats everyday if their hearts will go down? I give them all great care, but i'm just trying to save even a little bit of time because I went a little crazy with the animals and now I have 22... just like in real life.

On to my next question. I have read up on the Mario crops quite a bit, but I haven't been able to find out what radius of the crops the Mario stuff has an affect on. Is it only the crops directly surrounding it? or is it a larger radius?

For treats, no you don't have to keep giving them once the treats gauge thing is full. As long as you still pick them up/talk to them, brush them (if need be), collect their produce, and feed them, their hearts will never go down. I have already maxed out most of my animals, and they are all at 10 hearts, and I occasionally get +produce. They also give me 5 of their produce every time.

For the mario crops, that is all the area they are planted in. If you have it in your greenhouse, then only those crops will get the effect. If you have it outside, on your first land, everything will get the effect. (Same with Eda's land, if it is on that side.) That happened to me. A mushroom mario crop had grown. I'd just cut all the grass near my barn and coop (before I moved them.) I harvested the mushroom, and everything I had planted on that side of the farm ripened. Even stuff not even close to it, and the just cut grass. Right across the other side of the farm. So, I don't think there is a range.

Thank you so much! That really helps me out. I have the mushroom ready to harvest but the crops surrounding it aren't really ones it would be the most beneficial. I'll harvest it once I get crops around it that make sense... so it will be forever from now because i'm so flippin indecisive.
