Also at 34/35 seconds.irulethegalaxy wrote:
Perhaps that odd trunk at 59 seconds in the video IS an upside-down Skytree? though it seems kinda crammed into a random spot for that.
ETA: 54 seconds in. There is an upside-down tree (or at least bare--root and branch structures pretty much look identical), and it looks just like the one at 59 seconds!

So it looks like Rising Star is bringing the game to Europe spring of next year.

That means release date will be same as TLV in NA?RopeMaidenKirie wrote:http://gonintendo.com/stories/259273-ri ... urope-in-s

kinda disappointed tbh, because they just recycle TLV (it still have minecraft atmosphere), with "bigger" character, and different marriage candidates, even though i keep my expectation low, plus some new character (some character like Doc, and Naomi is back anyway) but im glad they improved some things like the upgraded tools.
i dont mind the narrator voice, maybe because i watch anime with high pitch anime girl voice? lmao
but hey, Gareth, and Tabitha is back, and maybe as marriage candidates, so... why not? maybe i will give it a chance

Nope, not necessarily. Could be the same time, or it might be earlier. But I think (if I remember correctly) TLV in EU came out pretty close to the NA release date. I don't think it's like Bokumono where Europeans usually have a long wait after it's released over here.JustABeautifulGuy wrote:That means release date will be same as TLV in NA?RopeMaidenKirie wrote:http://gonintendo.com/stories/259273-ri ... urope-in-s

I didn't play the game, but I heard the french translation was pretty bad, as if it was done with google translate.RopeMaidenKirie wrote:Nope, not necessarily. There was even a very big mistake on the game box... I think it's better if it takes time if it can get a good translation

Oh? That's too bad :/ I've heard good things about Rising Star so I'm kind of surprised to hear that. Hopefully they do a better job this time with the language options then.FuranSuwa wrote:

Well, I for one am intrigued. The series is finally starting to look like a proper Harvest Moon game.
I'm still not fond of most of the old features that the other posters have mentioned, but at the very least, it's a step in the right direction. I'm gonna wait for more info before making any further judgements, though.

Getaris wrote:CeeCee just confirmed that the animation *is* a tiny bit faster (and they're still working on it), and that there will be the option to harvest multiple crops at once by default (without any tool upgrades), covering up to a 3*3 area.
This makes me very happy heheh.
It might seem insignificant, but watching that trailer I wondered about that. It seemed like hooray, I can plant a hundred crops in the span of seconds! But then it would take two days to harvest them all at that speed, one at a time.
Anyway, my overall impressions are positive!
I never played TLV, it didn't interest me much and while there were features I was intrigued by, (terraforming, experimenting with crops and elevation, etc.) it seemed a bit unpolished at the time. I feel like Skytree Village is basically those ideas more fully realized and perfected. Not to say that everything in this will be perfect of course, but I feel like it's come quite a way from TLV.
I'm looking forward to this quite a bit at this point, it seems like it could be really fun!
Also the village is cute, though one thing, I didn't like how the villagers were just standing around in small packs, staring at the main character as they ran around. P: It seemed a bit... unsettling.
"Introducing the newest game in the Harvest Moon series..... Harvest Moon: The Uncanny Valley!"
Anyway... Exciting! It's great to have some solid info.
And the Donkey is adorable.
