Other than that, Dean being a florist makes him look that much cuter. I think I've found my favourite.
Omg yes! I was thinking the same thing. He is on top of my list now. I'll admit that I'm actually looking forward to this game now.
Still not thrilled with the terraforming but I'll live

The red hair is what initially caught my eye, the rest is keeping me to stay.
I'm not really disappointed with having three romance options, just as long as they make it worth it. Besides, maybe they'll think of adding DLC candidates in the future.

I found a short gameplay video on YouTube.
Art looks to be improved a whole lot so that's great! Still not a fan of the landscaping though and the town looks a little bit small.

Hey guys! Not sure if this was brought to attention yet so if everyone already knows, ignore me, heh.
But a few days back, Natsume posted this on their FB page.
"Huge lineups to play Harvest Moon: Skytree Village at #E32016!
#HarvestMoon: Skytree Village arrives exclusively on the 3DS later this year in North America and Q1 2017 in Europe via Rising Star Games!"
So sometime this year for NA and early 2017 release for Europe!
Again this may be old news but I didn't see it. (Edit: This is of course assuming it doesn't get delayed, which happens from time to time so I can't count it as guaranteed, but the game seemed to be coming along well from what we saw at e3, so fingers crossed that it's on track for 2016!)
I'm really actually quite excited about this game at this point, even though I'll hardly have time to play it with all the other games coming out this year.
As for bachelors I absolutely have my eyes on Dean, though Gabriel and Cyril are cute too of course.
But come on, he's a florist. How cute is that. :>

just seen the gameplay and whoa....
they literally copying TLV map but with town... idk how to react with this, and i cant even call that town (idk though, because they didn't show the full map of town), they literally copy TLV, with same house, same farm, same HG place, "almost" same map etc
natsume should start "new" game, not copying from TLV, they should give us brand new game without TLV elements (characters that still appear on 3 games lol, and same house+same map but with town, really?)
im still gonna try it though, because Cyril, and Melanie lol

By art-style, I thought they mean something new, but its just teen version art style of TLV.

Oddly enough, I actually might consider getting this game. A pre-owned version that is. Even though I still dislike the art style, I like how the trailer on the ushi no tane site focused on the female perspective (simply because after E3 I got tired of hearing all of the male protagonists). The descriptions of the candidates interested me, the FeMC is way too cute for me to ignore and they don't look like chibis. I mean I love chibis a lot but I did not at all like how TLV looked which is odd considering I usually like cutesier things. Now I might get a chance to try terraforming and hopefully those mutations everyone was raving about!
So happy that we get a female doctor AND a female chef and a guy who likes flowers. Those are the candidates who caught my eye. It's even better that the doctor is a klutz and the flower guy has red hair, it's too perfect. I just hope they include some magical candidates (They should learn from what happened with the witch and wizard, you can't put them in the game AGAIN and not make them candidates.)
Speaking of the witch and wizard, after Seeds of Memories I think they should try to not make this "new" game too similar in environment, characters and so on to the other games. So far it just looks like another version of what TLV should have been. You could say that it's the grown up or perhaps teen-aged TLV. I like that they're keeping the animals to a minimum but I wouldn't mind Alpacas, Yaks and Quails, just to give people at least 2 choices for each type of product but mainly because I like Alpacas more than Sheep (although Sheep are pretty dang cute.) I just feel it would let you personalize your farm a little more although not being overloaded with needing multiple animal products is refreshing.

Whoa, I saw the trailer, and this game looks AWESOME! Is this a spoiler?:
Spoiler:
I love how Doc, Sally, and Naomi are returning!( though I love the tallness, I wish they would make Sally shorter)

Right. The farm house is the same "area" style as in LV (e.g., it has the space where the tree would be), but its entrance to the valley is in a different spot. I was expecting that with the land being "dry" because of the lost Goddess powers, the village itself would be in shades of brown, dry soil, and yuckiness, but the demo had everything in green. I figured that it was just because of the demo. Since the game is still in development, I wasn't exactly sure what parts of it were just for E3 and which parts of it were permanently going to be in the game. The bottom screen showed the LV map too.
That gameplay Youtube video has some other HM music overlaying the video, so I've no idea where they got that from

For those of you wondering about Gareth and Tabitha, I asked Ceecee about it, and nope, they're not marriageable "at this time". I'm extremely disappointed, seems pointless to have them return so often then. And after people requested them so much, they're gonna do this « Puppy Doodoo » again? Ugh.
Ceecee says they're doing this because in SoM, people mostly married three characters and left the other two, which for them means more choice was useless. But I think that's a « Puppy Doodoo » excuse, even if there are more popular choices, more choice is always better for the consumer. And it's unfair to people who dislike the current choices, like I did with Lost Valley. I only bought it when Luke was added in. I'm luckier this time, but it still leaves a bad impression on me that they're going to stick with this. Especially since it's not like the characters were super well developed or had tons of romantic events even when we had only 3 choices, so why is it so hard to add a couple more? Couple that with them using tons of old characters again, the same house and valley and well....my excitement is dying down very quickly. Seems like they improved a lot, but also were quite lazy in other areas....and that's not good enough to compete with SoS.
Of course "at this time" means they may add them in DLC, but heh...

(I really wish my account was validated so I could edit my posts)
Ceecee added that there are double the requests for candidates in this game that there was in Lost Valley, which means more story and events, and that they focused on character developing more in this game than LV or SoM. Which sounds nice, and I guess we can see that a bit with the more interesting choices they have this time around. Maybe this will be enough for those who don't like the selection? I'm not as bitter as with LV since I do like the choices this time, but it's still a decision I personally disagree with. I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it if they hadn't used characters that were previously marriageable.
I asked for more info on it, but I haven't gotten an answer yet and I need to sleep. Also my last post was kinda mean, I apologize for that. It's just that with SoS making the only magical candidate for females in ages infertile, and now not having these magical beings being marriageable....this year has not been good for fans for magical candidates.
