I'll be playing Skytree Village. Meh, Pokemon.

TBH, this whole final quarter of the year is so jam-packed with games that it's hard to pick a release date where something else isn't going to potentially steal away attention. But this is why I preorder and pay off my physical copies WAAAAAY in advance if possible. I already have SOS:3oT and DQ8 completely paid off, and those don't even HAVE release dates yet!

I wish there was more footage and/or news of the game itself; I'm still on the fence. Dean, if that's the red head bachelor's name, is cute though.

Welp, i'll 100% be playing Pokemon, but if I do have some extra cash lying around- i'll buy Skytree as well.

I just looked up Skytree on EB Games and it's a $40 game, meaning it's not falling under the $60+ price rise most 3DS games are in Canada.

Where do you live that you still have EB and it's $40 out of curiosity? If you don't mind.
((We have Gamestop which I heard is the same thing IDEK it's been ages since we had an EB. And Gamestop comes up $30 for me. So I'm being nosey. x3))

Canada. It says right in my post you even quoted...

Games in Canada, digital and physical, are $10-$20 more than in the USA. EB Games is Canada's main video game supply store. We used to have the same prices when the CAD was around par with the USD, but now that it's gone down the toilet, things (not just video games) have become more expensive for Canadians as a whole.

A $40 game is a steal now. Most of my 3DS purchases this year are $60+ after tax which has made me shy away from many day one purchases, something I used partake in often.

So pretty much $30 USD = $40 CAD.

Hah.

In Mexico, even though a normal 40 american dollars game should go for around 750 pesos due to our current (horrible) exchange rate, video games get an extra price increase on top of that, about 25%.

Thankfully, most smaller studios use the more direct translation of the price on their eshop prices. Nintendo doesn't though. :shifty:

Well, at least since they rarely update their prices on the eshop, games that were expensive some years ago are actually quite well priced now.

Aw man, when I was a kid in the 90's it was 1 dollar = 10 pesos. Two or three years ago it was 1=13. Now it's basically 1=19. That sucks :(

I misunderstood that as the game was $40 where you live so it was going to be $60 CAD. :p
Because I do not understand economies, money, or some sentences based on sentence structure. x3

The 90's were a better time for a lot of people I think.

I feel like we still know really little about this game despite it coming out in about 2 months.. Hopefully Natsume will show us more in game footage or something about their new features or anything really.

That's my problem as well. I believe we only have the E3 footage of the game and nothing else. If there was more information of the game, I might be inclined to preorder it.

They seem to be focused on their River City game right now.

I'm sure they'll remember this one exists before release.
