I am agreeing with this. I've always found it a bit, hmmmm, I'm not sure what word to use for this... alienating(?) to feel like an outsider all the time, even after being in town for years, so this is a nice touch. Like you said, it makes it feel like you're actually a part of the people, rather than the illusive farmer.

According to a close family friend, who is Japanese, giving combs to girls is basically the same as asking them to be your girlfriend

Somebody, I forgot who, I skimmed the past two pages, had asked about Neil being in the game? Cher did a tweet confirming that he's not in the game. Mr red coat is just a random villager, which confuses me a bit lol

Yeah, they confirmed that no characters are returning, which makes me happy, because it's like a 50/50 chance with the returnees. Either they're the same character but with a different name and color palette (Blue from MM), OR they're the same (which is kind of what I like, ex: the Mineral Townsfolk from DS/CUTE), OR they're completely different people and unrecognizable besides from their looks (Licorice and Kamil from SoS).

I'm sorry, but I really didn't like Licorice or Kamil in Story of Seasons. Their personalities were way off from the original and honestly Licorice just annoyed me with her plant studies, unlike in ToTT where she seemed genuinely enthused in plants and their benefits. Cam/Kamil is the biggest disappointment for be since he isn't that shy cat lover that I fell for in ToTT. He's just superrrrr talkative and flirty tbh.

Back on topic, I'm glad that the characters in 3OT are new, fresh ones, instead of recycled ones! (but I kinda want to see neil again... back to ANB!)

Hmm...I checked all the tweets, and that's not quite it. It's specifically that Neil is not in the game, that the guy in the red coat was not him...no specific confirmation on the absence of any returnees. Personally I don't think we'll get any, I think we've got all the candidates we're getting...but it's not 100% confirmed yet, afaik.

Ha ha...I didn't notice him being flirty at all until White Day (or whatever it's called in the game) when he gave the MC some sweets and said 'Ciao babe,' in farewell, lol. I nearly choked. KAMIL, AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE SUPER SHY AND RESERVED? It made me laugh.

I'm still hoping for Kana and Georgia to return. They just can't leave Lulucoco short a bachelor and Westown short a bachelorette. Especially, when they made Inari unable to have children. Those two would really fit well, imo. And they did give GrB two games to return in.

In the picture where the female protagonist is with the dog and wearing the brown dress, she's also wearing goggles on top of her normal hair. Do you guys think that means we can wear hats with any hairstyle in the game instead of having set styles that go with them like in the last sos?

Yes, that's confirmed, there's a video of hats being changed without the hairstyle changing on the official bokumono site for Trio.

I really hope if returning marriage candidates really back, they didnt change their characteristic like SoS did, if Neil really come i hope his tsundere still stay on him, thats his charming point, and the reason why i marry him in ANB lol, im not gonna marrying him if he become talkative, and not tsundere in 3oT (if he is really returning marriage candidates tho)

and regarding head acc, im glad they fix it, i dont have to stick with long hair when i use flower hairpin

New Neil will be a extremely worrisome, caring person who tears up easily.

He's always willing to talk about animals, and often loses track of time when talking about how wonderful they are.

Honestly, I really don't care if Neil's returning, I really didn't fall for him in ANB, I'm pretty sure that Cher said that he's not returning, though.

I really hope there aren't any returnees whatsoever. I married Cam in ToTT and was fine with Kamil's personality but didn't marry him or Licorice (Reina being the other person I married in ToTT oddly enough), although I befriended both because I didn't want to ignore the new characters. Mistel, Raeger, Elise, and Nadi quickly became my favorites. Sure, it makes sense, but it seems like a cheap way to do less work. I do think there should be 2 more marriageable candidates, though. Lulukoko needs another guy, and I think Westown needs another lady. While things may be even right now they aren't as far as the amount of candidates per village goes, which is why it feels off. I'm thinking we'll learn of any last candidates right before the game comes out.

It would seem that according to Cher, Neil either isn't in the game or at least isn't marriageable if he is. Thank goodness for that. I love Neil but I'd rather never think of ANB ever again. Although having Michelle bring in a dose of harsh reality would be nice. She was refreshing because of the fact that she was a manipulative jerk. I actually hope we get a similar character so that everything isn't sunshine and rainbows. Don't go killing any old ladies or make young girls jump in front of carts, Marvelous, but do show people a little diversity. Small towns don't mean happy towns. Family drama or drama not revolving around the MC would actually be appreciated

Finished reading through 8 pages! I'm loving every tidbit and loving this game more and more as we get more information.

The only thing i'm not really excited about is the grid system since I'm big on customizing my farm and all. I know ANB had a grid system but 3oT has larger grids (3x3? is the least dimension from the videos i've watched, I might be wrong though) which kinda limits the the ability the customize our farms more. The fences are also prebuilt on the structures.

As for the possibility of returning marriageable characters, I'm relieved that there's none.
