Having multiple screens worth of fields always makes me feel like I'm wasting space.

Hopefully they won't be too big.

I am so glad Cherubae went to E3.

I never liked diving so I'm okay with that but I think I saw someone hoping there would still be swimming, so they'll be sad. :( (I don't mean Kirie, though, it was someone else.)

I got my wish for maple trees, which I didn't think I would. So we're back to being able to have our own paddies on our farm...I wonder if it's even remotely possible that we could also get the cranberries I wished for...

I won't get greedy, though. I'm already very :D I, too, wonder if eating with the villages will have an FP boost to it.

Thanks for all the compilation of tweets, Kirie.

EDIT: I think we're going to NEED huge fields because of all the constructions we'll need to place to control the various crop stats. (Juiciness and colour and so on.)

Also, on the topic of the famitsu scans, that brown dress with the dress shirt the FeMC is wearing is super adorable. I want to wear it at all times.

It's also going to be so much less of chore doing farm work with all the fields being in one place. Sorry to those who liked the public fields but I found them to be very tedious and time-consuming.

You're very welcome! :D I'm super excited about all this news too haha

Festivals in the game include town specific and all-towns options. So many festivals... (maybe I can get a calender picture. It's crazy...)

As much as I love festivals I also hope that there aren't too many, as I feel it could potentially be disruptive of regular work earlier on. We'll see, I guess it does depend on what type of festivals they are and how they work.

The game is about 30% larger text wise. It may take XSeed some time to localize plus QA. So no harassing them for release dates ;)

Also, there is a farm house mailbox, but no television.

~New tree crop - maple trees can be harvested to make maple syrup.
My Canadian soul is pleased.

Super excited about the festivals - they were pretty bland in SoS. And since our farm isn't in one of the towns I'm guessing we won't be locked out of festivals like in ToTT. I'm a little disappointed about Inari because no fox children but all the other little details (like eating with the villagers!) look really fun.

I would love a picture of the calendar, just to give me an idea of how many festivals we're talking about. I love festivals but I also thought what Wizard Molly mentioned, which was that too many might really disrupt the flow of the game re: farming and shopping and so on. But in theory, I love the idea of so many festivals. :D

Whee. I hope they don't give us cranberries, or at least don't tell us about it today if they do, because if I get another crop I wanted I might...explode, or something.

EDIT: Hey, loads of fellow Canadians on this forum, cool. :)

EDIT 2: I shall revise my 'earliest POSSIBLE release date' dream from January to March...but I'm going to assume that it will take at least a year, now. SoS took them 13 so...I'm just not going to hold my breath on any estimations.

Alright guys, if you post some questions, I can tweet them at Cher. Let's not bother her with candidate/romance stuff since she probably doesn't have time to confirm anything (or you can tweet her that on your own) but mostly gameplay stuff would be preferable. Anything in particular?

Any new crops other than maple trees? I'm also curious about the animals. Is there any indication that the + quality crops are back?

Can you ask her if you can select dark skin for character creation? I haven't seen it yet this time. And the fact you have an established family made me wonder.

My questions: How do you find out about your dad's goals for you? Does he make your staying on the farm conditional on you meeting his standards, and does the game therefore have a timeline? Does you making the villages more prosperous tie into your dad's demands?

I'm not sure if my questions were intelligible. I can't think of how to word them. I won't mind if my questions are ignored though so don't mind me if I didn't make enough sense.

Edit: I'm quite sure they showed us able to select a dark skin tone, btw, Crystal Power. But it might take me a while to find it since I think it was in one of the information package releases from the magazine, and I don't remember if there was a picture, and I can't read Japanese, lol...

Edit 2: I know I remember specifically them saying that there were lots of skin tone choices...but I can't face wading through 50 forum pages and trying to track it down. I'm sure Cher can easily find it out if the demo includes customizing a character, though. Maybe she already knows.

YAY KANADUH~! We must unite under our odd yet charming love for maple trees!

The game being 30% bigger text-wise is cool news! I'm fine with them taking as long as they need since they have such quality translations.

Ah yes, cows. There are different patterned black and white cows in the animal shops. Pets are for sale in the shops too.

Glad to help!

Cher's getting a list of questions to ask XSEED, so if you have a question post it soon or you'll have to just wait until next week :p

Edit: I asked if there's a tutorial and if you can skip it. Also asked about if herding is back, or if you can have a farm bell.
