The proposal items are a Blue Feather in Lulukoko, a Comb in Tsuyukusa, and a Wedding Ring in Westown.
Aww, I wanted the Tsuyukusa proposal item to be a sword :(. The comb works too, but it would have been cool to be able to propose to my guy with a freakin' sword. Oh well, no big deal really :).

Here's the calender for Fall. Cake icons are birthdays, stars are festivals in the three towns.

Some town festivals might take place on the same day, so you've to decide which one you want to attend.

The crop plots are grouped in pairs and can be moved when editing the farm layout.

It's a mutation. A groovy mutation. (Sorry, I couldn't resist that X-men quote!)

A festival every week, and more. Hmm. Is the crown an all-town festival, maybe?

I wonder if this will affect how much affection you get from festival wins. If there are this many festivals it should be very easy to raise affection. Makes me worry that they'll take that away to keep it from being too easy, but then it'll be too hard, heh...

EDIT: Heterochromia looks cool, so yay.

The wedding ring for Westown is kinda.....old fashioned? imo. But I'm not complaining

Edit

That's a lot of festivals...

Well, each town has its own festivals, with apparently some that are shared between all towns. (Right?)

I wonder what the crown icon is. My guess so far is that a crown represents a festival that all three villages attend...but that was my first, random guess.

The crown could mean special events(?)

I suppose it could have something to do with your family. Argh, I just don't know, we have nothing to go on...it could be anything. Events, all-town festivals, check in with your dad...somebody's coronation. Okay, not that, but...I wish I could make a better guess.

Waaaaait, wait...one of those crowns is on the 30th. The 30th has always been the Harvest Festival. So maybe that does represent an 'all-town' festival that's not specific to one area or another, but is specific to farming, like livestock or crop festivals, etc? Ugh...I think that's my best guess. Back to my original impression, I guess.

Are the heterochromia eyes available from the beginning this time? I was going to have the MC stay on the default look, but I don't think I can resist giving them to the MC if they're available from the start.

Oh my, the calender is packed. I guess there won't be many days to feel there's not much going on lol. Hopefully the villagers have more events a bigger purpose as well. ^^
Kikki wrote:And yay, right, Crystal Power? They didn't add MORE skin tones but at least they didn't remove the darker option we had in the last game :)
Yes yay! I'm satisfied with the options we had in the two previous titles so I'm glad we still have them! :D

Yes! Boy am I glad this has no marriage rivals again! This just keeps getting better and better~

Although, I wonder how many outfits will be available, none that have been shown in the famitsu screenshots have been appealing to me, except the dress from the recent scans, that one's pretty cute.

I myself was a little uncomfortable with rivals but honestly, so many people want them (the large majority it seems) and they've done without for a few games now, I thought it might be nice if they got them back this time.

But anyway, I liked the kimono shown in that one Famitsu scan (I think) and that steampunkish looking outfit shown recently was quite cute, too. I'm not worried that I won't like anything, at least, though the amount of clothes I like in bokumono games has always been pretty low. I'm fine with just a couple of choices that I really like.

I'm curious about the child thing.....I know that we only get one child this time around(?) But I want to know the child stages....please let them be older than 2-3 years old....and please no stupid grow up candy!

I think there are things there will be no way for Cherubae to find out at E3 since you won't be able to play for all that long...and I don't know what things they'll answer versus which they might keep secret or just don't know the answer to yet even themselves. (I have no idea how long they've had the Japanese game and if they themselves know much of the story, yet...I don't really know how localization works.)

I suspect that children are one of the things that might not be known yet. I also didn't like the grow-up candy. I mean, I liked seeing the kid grown up, but at the same time, it was like seeing Link suddenly surge forward to a young man from being a child in Ocarina...it was creepy and wrong to instantly turn a child into an adult (or older teenager, however I should put it). That would be psychologically devastating.

Of course, we're probably not suppose to put that kind of thought into it, but that wasn't something I spent time thinking about in ANB or with Ocarina...it just instantly felt bad to me. (Even though I prefer the older characters to the child characters.)

In any case, Cherubae's usual Friday update, if she makes it, should be full of interesting stuff. :) We got a lot of basic answers today...this game looks awesome to me, from everything I know so far.

Exactly what I was thinking. I adore heterochromia, and if it's available early on I'm definitely giving my character it.

I am mad that they got rid of the ability to swim in a game with a beach. It's a bit stupid to me, but I guess no swimming contest. Also, I was hoping for rival marriage but I suppose with the amount of children we have things should at least seem less stagnant. Speaking of children, I do hope they grow up a little more and have more of a role. Otherwise, nothing will stop me from marrying Inari and remaining child-free. Children already take up too much time to grow (I always end up sleeping until they're grown) and when no one talks to them and they don't interact with anything or aren't mentioned having them just becomes pointless. My last gripe is about the t.v but I suppose I'm not too surprised. The tidbits we've learned are decently interesting, I can't say I'm overly excited, though. The plot is decent and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. And the fact that we have a lot of festivals and some are shared is great news, and I can't wait to do nothing but customize my farm again thanks to all of the space we'll get.

One last thing, though, why a comb, Tsuyukasa? And how much are you going to make me spend for it? I can only imagine Komari getting a comb and being like: I can't even use this. But...thanks?

I'm not mad about it, and there's probably a cultural reason, but it's funny to me
