Oh yeah, as far as time-locked items go, I found a bunch of new forageables in year 2

Some of the ones I've found:
Westown - Basil
Tsuyukusa - Butterbur, fiddleheads, horsetail, mugwort, sour plum, sakura branch
Lulukoko - Rosemary, sage, purple/orange/green down, conch shell

You don't know where to get 'time' do you? I presume it means thyme? :)

What are you talking about mandm1? Fin never mentioned thyme that I can see. Time locked as in they unlock after a certain date in the game is what I got from that.

I'm talking about the item 'time'. I need it to make a farm circle item and I don't know whether I need to buy it or find it on the ground :S I thought it meant thyme, like the mint and chamomile etc.

Quick Q: does anyone know how to raise the item quality (like making "super" products) for livestock? I thought it was raised by giving animals crispy treats (サクサク) and greatest feed, but I've given my chicken 50 treats and have given it greatest feed for almost a month and it's still stuck at E level... I won't be able to compete in higher level contests at this rate.

It's also a problem with my rabbit and sheep, and I want the super products to make more clothes.

I wonder if it has anything with going outside as well? Do you put your animals out every sunny day? Or no? I've been doing it just in case, but I'm not nearly as far as you yet to see results.

I put my chicken and rabbit outside for a while, but it's such a pain to move sheep :T I was hoping the special treats and food would be more effective, plus I haven't seen any evidence pointing to outdoor time improving item quality, just that it feeds them

It's weird that it takes so long because after 3-4 yield increasing treats they are already producing multiple items (my rabbit gives me 7 furs with each clipping), and their coat rank is A... dunno why quality refuses to raise...

Edit: nvm my chickens rank just raised to D, so while it takes a long-« Mr.Gourmet's hat » time, at least it isn't impossible

Grab some pets with the herding ability and they'll do it for you :)

I am still only half-way through Summer. Been busy with housework and other chores :( I was able to see Ford's second flower event, but I didn't notice a change in purple. Wasn't it suppose to be two colors of purple? He's on blue now and I didn't see any different colors of purple. I am playing on Seedling mode though.

For flower colors someone had said: white > purple > sky blue > blue > light green > green > yellow > orange > pink > red.

so far after marriage is pretty typical,
Spoiler:
except when you go around and talk to people with 3+ hearts they give you a wedding gift! it usually seems to be food related, except yuzuki gave me some seeds and wayne gave me a white rose... lol.

on the days that he has work hinata leaves at 6AM SHARP. i see him for like a split second before he's out the door. and then he doesn't come back until pretty late lol. on his days off he hangs around a little bit longer but then goes back to tsuyukasa to hang out with yaichi/do the usual things he did on his days off. fine with me because i hated when they just chilled out at your farm. i don't even spend that much time on the farm itself.
@cher: the only one there's two shades of is blue. after that is yellow, orange, pink, red.
