Does anyone have a link to pictures of hairstyles and clothes?
Also, do hats change your hairstyle in this game?
I wasn't considering getting this game because both ANB and SoS didn't really keep my interest (I was a bit sad about that because I figured I'd just finally grown out of the series). However, after reading through this thread, I think they may have fixed some my problems with the previous games. You guys have pretty much convinced me to give it a try when it's released in NA.
I was leaning toward Inari but with no child and not even living with you...yeah, that ruins the fun of marrying a fox deity.
Also excited about Agate's outfit because I always adored it. I hope it's not too difficult to get a hold of.
That's awesome. From what I can understand from the Bing translate is that there's a new picture show in the game. Are those the like images with the curtains and drawings of idol girls and the two boys sitting by the water that I've seen on miiverse?
Costumes=More outfits? If so...wow! They have so many new and beautiful outfits in this game already, I'm surprised that they're adding more.
I couldn't quite understand the part about "to play better coordinated", but I'll assume it's just tweaking little things to make the game run smoother.
The "Picture Show" is a very specific thing in this game. There is an old guy who starts showing up randomly and he reads you a chapter from a story from a children's picture book and then gives you some food. I guess that means they added more chapters or a second story or something.
Although I find this to be an inadequate replacement for the TV, :/
I haven't really looked to see what's in the patch, so.

Do any fellow importers have any beginner tips as to how to make money quickly/efficiently?

Thank you! That's what I've been doing so far. Just unlocked Lulucoco ^^
Does anyone know if it's ok to ship the colored Downs that are found there? Is it like ANB where they're used for cloth?

you definitely can ship them.
there are certain outfits that do require them though, but you can always get more.
Version 1.1 added new story to the 'kamishibai' shop (the paper play theater show) and new outfits, but they really didn't give anything more specific.

Spoiler:
Woofio and the pink-haired emcee are both candidates that will be added to the game later this winter via update. (source)
Spoiler:
WHAAAAAT!? That's actually going to happen? They're really going to become marriageable? I'll admit, even though they had CGs, I wasn't expecting them to actually become marriageable. It's cool that they are, though, reminds me of the odd marriage candidates MFoMT had, and I always thought emcee was cute anyways. Woofio, on the other hand, is on the creepy side, IMO (his eyes will burn into your soul,) but I still like that he's going to become marriageable, if nothing more then for the sheer hilarity of it (bonus points if after marriage he takes off his costume and turns out to be the hottest guy in the game .)
