I wonder if XSeed is going to implement the DLC when the game releases in NA. I wouldn't mind getting it right away; I want to experience all of the candidates before making a decision. I did like Woofio's expressions a lot in SoS and his silly jokes; Woofio might be an option for me.

My first thought upon reading about that DLC candidates thing:



No, really. When people started speculating about those two strange CGIs that appeared after marriage, I was (rather uncharacteristically) quick to dismiss it.


At some point, I guess I had allowed myself to become jaded, basically resigned to the idea that I'll never have another Kappa.


But, now that I see that these CGIs are indeed what we all thought them to mean....


Seriously, this could very well be the first time since MFoMT that I've had genuine, actual interest in a marriage candidate.


....But, I swear, if they pull a Teddy with Woofio, so help me....


....Eh, I have my doubts that they'll do that to me, though....


Why? Well....




All that being said, I remain cautiously optimistic. I kinda have to be, at this point.

@Kluteau: Hopefully unlike Kappa, the DLC characters have heart events. Don't get me wrong; make the DLC characters as challenging or not as challenging as they want, but, to me personally, I feel like I get to know the candidates best through heart events and dialogue.

Oh wow! This is exciting, I always thought that the Emcee host was SUPER cute!! I am honestly a bit annoyed on woofio. So like we can have a man in a dog costume but not a man with a genuine beard? Mmkay... (I think the last time was DS Cute, though Soseki could be added even though it was stubble) lol but for those that are glad to woo woofio, then it's okay, glad people can get their wishes nonetheless. <3

Anyway, anyone else kinda thinking this may be why there was no returning candidates? They may be added as DLC! Is it even possible that Emcee and Woofio won't be the only new candidates!? It's exciting to say the least.

Series producer says he always wanted to make such a genre and now feel the freedom to do so, he thought characters like Neil would fit this new genre. lol if Woofio removes his costume then I want him to have two cg's, one without the dog suit.

Same here, I mean, assuming he removes that suit. Then again he may be a ghost. That could explain why so many people have stories of his eyes looking right into your very soul!! Bwauhahaha!!!

I wonder if the DLC will be free or paid? Most likely $$$ though.

I have the same feeling, I mean, an pirate could be in that suit for all we know and we wouldn't be able to find out...

With these two being DLC, do you think in the future they will hide marriage candidates behind a paywall?

Doubtful. Maybe one for each gender like this time at most, but I don't think Marvelous would ever take like, say, half of the candidates and make the other half DLC.
