Is there any way in game to 'reset' the random trainers so you can battle them again? Having beat the game and just missing around with trading and what-not I'd like to fight some trainers again, if for no other reason than just to get more money or level up some pokemon so they evolve.

Only places I've found for grinding post-game are
Spoiler:
later areas on Poni Island, the E4, And the battle buffet. Morimoto will also battle you daily.

Ok well what about a Pokedex upgrade? I got a Tepig in Wonder Trade and it doesn't even have a place in the Pokedex. Is there supposed to be some kind of universal Pokedex upgrade sometime?

About catching Solgaleo (or Lunala for those who have Moon)
Spoiler:
Is Nebby supposed to be that easy to catch? I only used 1 ultra ball. Because if it's that easy to catch, I want to redo the battle and use a different/special ball instead haha

I don't use legendaries in my usual playthroughs but Lillie's speech about showing Nebby the wonderful world of being a pokemon trainer makes me want to take it along my party ;w;
this game is so heartwarming i can't askjfs ;w;

I think so, I caught Nebby in a pokeball. It's possible that they made it easy to catch since it is a part of the main story.

It took me 2 Ultra Balls :lol: But I had Nebby's health whittled down and he was frozen solid soooooooooooo...

Yea Lillie's speech was SO CUTE ;A; I was like Nebby/Mirabelle (I renamed it haha) I may not use you but YOU GET DIBS ON THE POKE PELAGO HOT SPRING ALL THE TIME

Also Lusamine's jab about how we're no different than she is kinda made me laugh cuz this is the first game where they give your pokemon fun stuff to do when they're in the box (which is a GREAT IDEA, it's gotten me to use lots of different pokemon and train them up and evolve them and shove them full of beans and affection). I do find it funny that the ONE game where they give us the most options to be sweet and loving to our Pokemon is the one where Lusamine's like WELL YOU'RE ALSO A MONSTER SO THERE xD

Now I have a Togepi from Wonder Trade. Seems weird getting these pokemon that have no Pokedex listing. Anyone know how to upgrade the pokedex?

We can't get a pokedex upgrade until the Su/Mo update coming out in January (Which adds Pokebank support). The non entry pokemon you're getting are probably from island scans.

Oh interesting! When in January does this come out?

I also need to get on island scans, haha. Just hit post game and am pretty excited to see what's left to do.

I'd say get a fairy type killer on your team. I didn't have one and I struggled every time someone sent out one. Though, it really all depends on your team in general.

They're weak to Poison and steel types for the record.

Definitely want a fairy killer! A good early Pokemon for that is Magnemite - Steel/Electric is a fantastic combo. Still have him on my team and just beat the E4.

Other good ones are the Salandit, Mareanie, and Grimer!

Definitely, they need a nerf so bad. I mean, they're a strong type, but they have uncommon weaknesses. I know, for me at least, I never used a poison or steel type Pokemon before Y and never used a poison move in my life before fairies were introduced.

Diglett is what I used for Sun against fairies
