Diglett's also a good option!Ronin19 wrote: Definitely, they need a nerf so bad. I mean, they're a strong type, but they have uncommon weaknesses. I know, for me at least, I never used a poison or steel type Pokemon before Y and never used a poison move in my life before fairies were introduced.
Diglett is what I used for Sun against fairies
Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaa I agree they need a nerf. In X and Y it was deeply satisfying to annihilate the fairy gym with a Vileplume. Kinda sad I don't have access to Oddish in Moon
Oh geez I can imagine! I haven't come across a female Salandit period - a shiny one must be incredibly obnoxious to get >.<Celestrian wrote:Trying to re get this shiny female Salandit is awful, oh my gosh. @_@
I haven't seen any shinies yet
Oh! Quick question about the hot spring in Poke Pelago: can it hatch eggs? Also what's the best way to raise happiness in this game (re: Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Pichu)?

Yup, the hotspring can be used for eggs!
Though I've found the fastest way to do it seems to be riding Tauros with a magma armor/flame body Pokémon in the party. >w>
I usually raise their happiness through the friendship-raising berries, but I've heard of an apparent glitch that raises their happiness when you teach them TM's, so if you have two TM's the Pokémon can learn, you can just teach it one move then erase that for the second one repeatedly. Takes about 10 minutes.

What do you mean "destroyed"? Pokemon refresh is one of the ways to get close to your pokemon by petting and feeding the pokebeans. If they also get status problems during battle, you can heal them without having to use antidotes/paralyze heals/burn heals etc, which is really neatShan O 123 wrote:The game's making me destroy my first Pokémon? In the menu, something was flashing and when I pressed it, my starter Pokémon got destroyed. I've reloaded, but I'm wondering if I shouldn't hit that icon in the bottom right corner?
Bad photo but.....Spoiler:

No, the hearts are affection, happiness is from walking around with the pokémon in your party, using it in battle, giving it hold items and from massages and the frendship meals in the Festival Plaza.LeBurns wrote:What's the trick to getting Blissey? I've got my Chansey at max hearts, but leveling up does nothing. Hearts is happiness right? Is there something else that needs to be done?
Thanks. That may take a while then.bitsy_bites5 wrote:No, the hearts are affection, happiness is from walking around with the pokémon in your party, using it in battle, giving it hold items and from massages and the frendship meals in the Festival Plaza.LeBurns wrote:What's the trick to getting Blissey? You can also leave it on the hotsprings island in the PokeApelgeo or however it's spelt; you can leave it there for up to 24 hours to raise its friendship. It's how I got all my friendship based evolution Pokemon to evolve so quickly. Just make sure you take them out after 24 hours or else they'll start to lose friendship. You can take them out for like a minute and put them back there instantly though.LeBurns wrote:Thanks.
