@LeBurns: another trick I heard (that worked for me when I tried it) is to teach the pokemon you want TMs. They get a happiness boost when you teach them a move, so I'd take two TMs and just alternate back and forth on one move slot - teach one move, then overwrite with the second move, back to the first move, etc. After like four or five rounds of that + the soothe bell and a level up they were at max happiness.
It is pretty annoying that happiness =/= affection. But then again I guess it would be too easy to spam rainbow beans for evolutions after a while.

Finished hunting the UBs! It was pretty fun but also kind of easy? The beast balls are a little OP for UBs. Guzzlord was the only one who gave me any trouble but even that one I just put ot sleep, had Ninetales' snow warning on and whittled their health down. I was a little shocked you get $1m gold afterward « Mayor Thomas »
Now training up some other pokemon I want to try using for the Elite Four. Poni Island is GREAT for training pokemon up, even if you don't battle trainers the wild pokes are high enough level for a good EXP boost. I've also been leveling up pokemon in my box to fill my dex which is fun too.
Oh! Caught Tapu Lele and Fini, now onto the other two. I accidentally fainted Tapu Koko after the Elite Four so I gotta beat them again to get that one. I like that they're all fairy types! I might actually use them haha.

I booted up Moon today and did every other post game activity I had left until all that was left was the Battle Tree. I miss playing Pokemon! ;w;
This is the first gen in a while where I'm actually itching to play more after beating the game. I'm still working through some post game content but I'm also excited for the update!
I also kind of want to do another playthrough with a diff starter! I don't want to lose my mons tho...
I feel like I did everything in my Sun game as well. I'm hoping the Pokemon Stars rumor for the Switch is true; I'm itching for another Pokemon game and if it's for the Switch and the 3rd entry in 7th gen I want to try this all fairy team I wrote up.
