In TLV characters would accept items of a greater quality in their requests.
Yeah I tried, it won't give me the option for requests when I have great wool in my pockets, I thought it would work too
Kross lover/fan wrote:I had to do the same only to get Ultimate Wool. Took me about 9(?) tries before it worked. I mostly got good and a few regular when I did that. So yeah, you'll have to be patient or try again next time unfortunately.
Yeah I'm still trying, on my 20th time so far and still only great wool, had to take a break for my sanity but I'll keep trying till I get it

Thanks! I hope so too! I just use normal feed, I've never fed it anything but normal food yet

You need to store the regular Wool too in order for the quest to switch over to accepting Great Wool instead. Kind of silly, but that's how it is.

Oh right! It won't use the higher quality item unless it's the lowest quality available in your inventory.

Have you tried that?

Huh, that's strange, I'll try that if I ever manage to get regular wool lol. Thanks!

Oh well, if you don't even have any regular wool in your inventory... Then that might not be the problem...

It's easier to buy Bread from Bastian, but if you really want to make your own, you need to buy the recipe from him, then grow your own wheat and grind it in your windmill to get flour.

How to grow white celery?? That is a winter crop, yes??

White Celery is changed a little from TLV, and is high elevation in fall now. For the soil thing, it converts into a soil bag when you get 99, so that's why it's not showing up at the fertilizer bin. It's a bit annoying, but you'll need to place or store some to make it break open a new bag and put 99 in your inventory.

I just started winter and didn't really play TLV that much so I don't remember, is there anyway to tell the type of soil after it's been tilled?

No, there isn't unfortunately, since it changes the minimap tile too. You'll have to wait a day for the soil to go un-tilled to really tell what it is.

You can tell by the edges around the tilled area.
