Princess Debut - Anyone Own It?
Okay, this'll sound a bit strange to ask, but I have a little database of DS game images I have been gathering lately, mainly to assist certain fan wikis of games and, um, certain other things I can not mention on this site, and I want to know if anybody owns a copy of Princess Debut by any chance so I can add a couple more to my collection. You know, the game with the girl who trades places with the princess and dances with a bunch of boys.
I do not necessarily need the box, though I wish I had found an image of the game that was 720 or above in height, as this was the best I could find and I had to upscale it. Width only needs to be in the correct portions of the way the image looks, as I only need it to be 720 in height.
For example, When I upscaled the image I showed earlier, the dimensions remained the same after I upscaled. So, it went from 400x361 to 798x720. Blown up to about double its size. Not the best quality image I have, as the result. But, the numbers on the right are what matter here. They only need to be 720 or above and I could care less about how the left numbers are.
I am mainly looking for a picture of the cartridge now, which demands no specifications like the box art other than being at least HD; which I can not find, no matter where I look.
Also, if anybody whom does own this game could take a picture of the DS Game Icon (the one that appears in the DS menu before you start the game), I would appreciate that. I actually have a full databse of DS Game Icons so I don't need it to look good at all, as I am only using it for reference to find it in the ones I have.
I wouldn't be surprised if this post gets removed, given it's a bit strange to post here, but I didn't know where else to ask for images of a Natsume game other than this site.

I have the game. I'm not good at taking pictures and even worse at posting them online. Frankly, though, the cartridge sticker sucks on this game. It's basically the same as the box, but with the Natsume logo right over Sabrina's mouth, like a gag. The game icon is another close-up of Sabrina's face, winking at you.
Oh « Harvest Goddess »...I love and hate that game.
If you want the pictures, I'm heading to bed soon but I think I have the game with me (I'm on vacation and not 100% sure which DS games I brought).
I'll post here again tomorrow. I've gotten all the endings so if you need photos of anything in the game, I can provide it with time
Good luck with your search if it turns out that I don't have it with me ^^"
Edit:
I'm sorry, I don't have it with me but if you still need help, I'm going home in 2 weeks and can take a photo for you.

Thank you very much, I would appreciate all the help I can get.PeachyKeen wrote:amazon says it should be coming Dec 16-Jan 7. i'm hoping for earlier, so if i get it before Madara comes back from vacation, i'll post pics of the game and box!
Though, thinking about it now, it's insanely hard to find pictures of DS carts in comparison to anything else Nintendo related. For some reason, they don't come up that often.

Probably because DS carts are pretty small, harder to take pictures of, and they're usually the same as the box art. And it seems like the game companies are starting to favor downloadable e-shop versions to selling hard copies of games these days, which means no hard copy to take pictures of in the first place.
I have come to doubt that reason, given you can find a picture of the cart image for every single N64 game ever made, and the majority of those are identical to their box art.Pumpkin Queen wrote:Probably because DS carts are pretty small, harder to take pictures of, and they're usually the same as the box art. A notable example where this matters a lot is Chrono Trigger for the DS. The cart simply displays the name of the game and did not copy and paste the box art. As I said earlier, obviously a majority of the games just use the box art, but most of them also use simplified versions of it. Such as DS carts, where usually, you only see the title of the game, which is fine for icon storage (when you're looking at a list of games, you can click on the familiar DS cart image) or the other reason.
So, I feel it should matter just as much to have high quality images of DS carts as it does for N64 carts, regardless if they are similar to the box art. It's just a nice thing to have for database reasons. In fact, Harvest Moon DS itself even had a good one where it only displayed the name of the game on it and not all the characters and such, which I only have cause I took the picture myself of my own cart. It came out really good after I adjusted the white balance of the photo.

I think it came out pretty well! Do not really have to hide it since it's rather small, but.

I adjusted the white balance to the normal colors of the cart, though it still looks a tad bit low quality, despite the size it was shrunken to. It is perfectly fine for using, though. It's not exactly HD, but it looks high quality in its shrunken form. Or maybe my eyesight is just too good and I am able to notice too little of a difference in quality.
