Yes there is an English. It's a hard game to come by though.
I haven't played it. I've head both good and bad reviews on it. Apparently the characters are fairly good, the story is a little lacking but overall the game is good with a replay value if you can ignore its flaws. I can't speak since I haven't played it but I heard it's semi similar to pokemon but not quite and more geared towards children :?

Still looks like a cute game and I might give it a try sometime if I can find it again lol.

If you don't mind some spoilers, here's a let's play on it https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NxyHjvk4mno

I've played it and it's an OK game at best.

If you like cute creatures, turn based RPGs, chatty characters, and the overuse of sound effects in dialogue, then go for it. I played about halfway through before it became tiring and no longer fun to play.

The dungeons are boring, the characters are all tropes (and the MC is a idiot dialed up to 100000+), and I can hardly remember any of the soundtrack.

If you're wanting the game, you're probably going to have to get it digitally off the eShop as physical copies of Aksys games are few and far between (unless it's Guilty Gear). Once I got rid of my copy, I've yet to see another in the wild.

It is still available for purchase on their shop though: http://store.aksysgames.com/collections/nintendo-3ds

The box you have is in English. ESRB ratings are only used in North America. Aksys is a North American company. Seriously?

Don't be an « Mr.Gourmet's hat ». This game has little to no info on it as it was released quietly and is extremely rare.

Interesting.......I may just keep an eye out for the game. You've definitely got me intrigued here.........I've always had a thing for niche games, especially hard-to-find ones. I actually own a gbc copy of Shantae, among several other rare/difficult-to-find titles. :)

@Bluie - awe I must be quite ignorant I didn't realize what anon said was a slight against me ahhh. And I didn't realize the box was in English dang I must be quite ignorant! I thought the game was only in Japanese because the pics I found only had Japanese writing. :P woops my bad!

@ Pumpkin Queen - shantae? Never heard of it! I should look into that! Yea idk how I found this moco game like I saw a picture and I said wow that's cute and I thought boy I've never seen or heard of that before and I found out it was a game but I saw Japanese writing and I said dratz it's probably not in English until anon pointed out duh the box is in English and It hit me! It's in English! The game from what I can tell you you can keep cute monsters and fight in dungeons. I bet it's really hard to find that's what people are saying heck I never knew it existed prior! I'll try to find it if not maybe on eshop. :) it seems like not much is known about it.

Ah yes, Shantae the belly-dancing genie with the power hair! It started as a almost-impossible-to-find gbc game. A few sequels followed on e-shop. Shantae games are pretty much e-shop only, unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately for those who still want to play them. I prefer hard copies of games, myself.

I prefer hard copies too, I need to check if they have these rare games on eshop in case I don't find hard copy.
