FF15
I picked it up for PS4 with the intention that this game was a make or break for me in the series. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. I beat the story last week and I still have some side quests and hunts to go through. To me, this is better than 12 (not a fan of the single-player MMO style gameplay or the licenses), 13 (HATED Hope and didn't care for the two sequels; I didn't think it needed them) and 2 (didn't like the gameplay of it, it's kind of the black sheep in the series to me), but I don't think it's better than the others minus 11 and 14 since I don't think it's fair to compare the single player games and the MMOs.
I.... love 15. I got it on the PS4 and I've pretty much been farting around the map doing as many side quests possible and spamming my facebook with the pictures Prompto takes. I heard the story goes downhill towards the end but I'm not really playing for the plot. I guess SE are planning to have several content updates though reading them wanting to put in an avatar system is kinda ??? to me.
i'm desperately hoping they release it for the Nintendo Switch when it comes out because that's my only chance for buying it.
my personal favorite gaming youtuber reviewed it, and he's usually extremely critical, so him having quite a few good things to say about it was encouraging. it looks really, really pretty

I haven't paid much attention to the Final Fantasy series since the abominations that were XI and XII. I'm surprised that this latest one is getting so much attention, though I've yet to see whether it's mostly positive or negative. I doubt I'd ever pick it up at full price (£50-£70!) regardless of how well it's getting reviewed.
I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. I had the day off yesterday and pretty much spent it just questing and exploring in the game. There are some aspects of the game that took me a bit to get use to (having a car and the difference between day and night). I love riding my chocobo and customizing it's color for some individuality. I do miss the customization aspect that seems to be missing, each character has 4 outfits, and they aren't much different than each other. Instead of armor updates you can wear accessories which are okay but meh, I like looking bad « Mr.Gourmet's hat » once I level up to a certain point but it's not a big deal. I did fear that it would start off very linear like ff13 did but it didn't and I really do enjoy discovering new areas of the world as the game continues.

I bought the deluxe version release day. I got it for the Xboxone and still haven't touched the game
The only thing that's holding me back from playing it is the fact that I don't have a Xbox one yet XD
I'm saving up for the system and I wanted games but knew I couldn't afford both games and the system at the save time. So I'm buying some of the games I want now and saving them for when I do have the system.
I look forward to play FF15
