Worth investing in?

I currently own Island of Happiness and adore it--it's one of my favorite HM titles. I didn't realize until recently that Sunshine Island existed, however, and I'm really tempted to buy it because of the upgrades it offers and new marriage candidates it has. Is it worth the investment if I already have IoH though? Is there enough new stuff to warrant getting it?

Of the two, I'd say Sunshine Islands is defnitely the superior game.
Though, who knows, since you already like IoH so much, you may feel a bit "tired" towards it.

They're pretty similar in premise, but also different in implementation.
I own both- if I remember correctly, you can use your keypad to walk in SI, while you couldn't in IOH.
There are two new love interests you can interact with.
There are also more interactions with Sprites- they can help out around the farm!
AND you can interact with more animals!

Being able to use the buttons to do stuff is a world of difference, it's that much better. But you can also just play it pretty much exactly the same as IoH, for whatever reason you may want that.
Besides that, what is probably my second favorite change is that the sunshine islands are considerably smaller in size, compared to the island of happiness. No need to spend hours walking to the mine, and no miles of empty emptiness everywhere. Everything is accessible and nearby.
Confusingly enough, it's apparently a very distant prequel to IoH... Yeah it doesn't make much sense.
