The presentation technicallly hasn't happened yet but it will by the time most of you see this.

So what do you all think about the Switch?

Looks pretty neat. Xenoblade 2, Project Octopath and the new SMT were the games that most caught my eye.

Near the bottom of this page (above the hardware section) they have a small list of logos for several games and series which are coming to the switch. Bokujou Monogatari/SoS is among them, along with Blazblue and the Tales series, which weren't mentioned in the presentation.

That new Mario game looks really weird but some of the locations are very beautiful?? Also very intrigued by the Bokumono logo on the site hmmm.

Siliconera mentions that a new Bokumono is coming to Switch, wouldn't that make it the first home console game in the series since Animal Parade?

Nice to see Todd confirm Skyrim for it, but I always play those games on a keyboard so not sure how I'll feel about using console controls.

Didn't see news about an HM game though. Is Natsume doing it again? Just haven't been real impressed with their latest offerings.

Excited for a bunch of the games, but I can't justify spending money on the console until probably later on in the year. The system itself is very very cool though.

Also extremely pumped that we're finally getting another console Bokumono/Story of Seasons!

Yeah, at best I'm thinking this would be a Christmas 2017 purchase. Gives time for more games to come out, maybe find/fix some bugs in the system, and maybe even a Christmas sale price.

Getting the system when Splatoon 2 comes out. I like Zelda and Arms, but I don't think that's really enough for me to get it right away. Splatoon 2 looks amazing. No region lock is good too.

Now to be more critical, I'm actually bummed out about a number of things in the Switch. First the movement to paid online is expected but still sad to see. I mean, Nintendo has never had very good online so I hope they're building up a robust online to justify the payment. Next, for "80 games" being in development...there really weren't a lot of games shown. In fact, despite the unified structure console and handheld departments now, the launch lineup is straight bare apart from Zelda. Really sad Splatoon 2 couldn't make the launch day. And the next thing is that it has 32G memory what the heck?? My PS3 came with more memory than Nintendo's latest console does.

Also the SoS news is really good since this would be the first console HM since Animal Parade.
