The only one that I know for sure I want is Woofio and currently he's up in the air. For my boy file it's a tie between Lisette (I have a weakness for blonde women ever since Eve) and Iuka. For my girl file literally every bachelor is a possibility. At first I had written Ford off completely but now I'm willing to look past his serious Dorito face.

I was wondering about this too because I'm torn between Ford and Woofio now, so I asked that person from tumblr who have married Ford.

They said that they only have seen the age gap thing mentioned by Ford once during the reverse confession, and once mentioned by protagonist jokingly (she calls him Ojiisan/Uncle) during New Year Festival. They said that rather than his age, Ford at first seems more insecure about how on earth someone like protagonist would ever date a weird, stubborn and socially inept man like him, but he doesn't seem to worry about it anymore after you marry him and focuses more about how much he has changed as person to the better since he married protagonist.

I will still woo Ford because I feel it very shallow to count his out right away just because the way he looks like rather than his characteristic. Similar with Woofio.

I have seen that he complains that he hula'ed so hard after the Lulukoko x Westown cultural exchange event that his hip now hurts, but that seems cute rather than irritating, to me...and it's also part of the DLC, not the base game, so it won't even matter unless those come over.

Long story short...I've seen more about Ford's dialogue than anyone else's, so far, and I have yet to see him make a big deal of being 'older'.

Because of the whole DLC thing I no longer know where to start. Though I do think I'm going to do a boy file and go after the bachelorettes first since it seems most people are going after bachelors first this time. In my Japanese copy I had all marriage candidated at a minimum of a dark blue heart by the end of Winter year 1 and that's without the event boosts as I'm still trying to trigger all of them. Will probably do that again and then copy over my second file as a back up so I can date and marry everyone without starting over each time.

Still definitely going to go for Siluka on my boy file.

Same here. The hula thing didn't strike me as being anything but cute, and his diaogue hasn't been anything ike Soseki and Klaus from what I've seen (and I've seen a lot). Ford is just socially awkward, romantically clueless, and initially avoiding love. I went for Soseki in one of my ANB files, so it kinda put me off Klaus in SOS. I totally get not being able to take "old man schtick" again. lol Ford is one of my top choices from what I've seen, he might even be taking over as my top choice.

I identify a bit with this myself, so I want to experience how his courtship plays out (maybe it'll give me hope lololol)

So far he's my favourite bachelor, though I did go for the older candidates in the latest games I played (Klaus, Wizard).

AND he wears glasses. Dunno why, but I like that (why yes, I did marry Arthur in RF4 and happily lived surrounded by glasses xD).

But I look forward to getting to know all the bachelors, they really do all seem interesting this time around (wasn't a fan of everyone is the first SoS, though I liked them well enough as friends, but felt weird at the idea of dating some of them).

I'm not sure who I'm going for anymore...

Originally I was going for Inari, but the children in 3oT are so adorable I don't know if I will anymore with the DLC issue up in the air.

I also really liked Komari's little event previews that we saw in the bachelorette video, so I may end up going for her.

I am still not sure on who I'll go for with the bachelors. I've been trying to go into this game pretty blind still.

I am thinking of either going for Siluka, Komari, or Kasumi. I remember in SoS I love most of the girls except maybe one. I am just excited for a new SoS

Ludus is so pretty Purely based on character design alone, I am interested in him, followed by Yuzuki and then Ford.

However, the truth is that I am open to any of them right now. I need to see all of the events I possibly can see before I make a concrete decision. Somehow in these games, I always end up with the teasing/playboy/flirt/jerkface type. I swore in RF4 it would be Dylas... then Leon came along. I had my heart set on Nadi in SoS, then Raeger worked his magic. And I HATED Allen and thought for sure I would end up with Neil, but somehow I ended up with Allen anyway LOL.

Sadly, I have not been terribly interested in any bachelorettes since before ANB, and once again will most likely not be making a boy file (but I guess you never know).

I'm trying not to pick mine by looks, but I argee. Ludus is a hottie. I'll wait to see a few events before I make a final decision.

I can't disagree with you about the MC not teasing Leon back enough. And the whole patting his head thing during your date was just odd (albeit sort of amusing) to me.

Time is defintely a factor in wooing candidates in these games. I may potentially need 4+ files because this bachelor group has so much appeal overall this time around. Thank heavens Brad isn't available LOL

Yeah there's another thread dedicated to marriage candiditate hopefuls. There's a line for Brad. Sorry everyone, no chef hubby this time.

I was hoping for at least 3 save files. That would let me marry my top 3. Although the more I read up on the candidates the more I like Ludus. Another thread said he sews. That's my kind of guy. So Ludus is definately my favorite at the moment.

If I ever get the game, probably Yuzuki or Wayne.

Well I'm from the mid-West so I figured at first Lisette from Westown would work for me. But then I heard her voice and it's more of a Texan draw than what I'm used to in Colorado. Not sure I can stick with that. I know another Westown possibility is Stephanie depending on how the DLC goes down, but I know next to nothing about her.

Runner up would be Komari as she's just too cute.
