Yeah, I figure there'll be a lot of polls in the 'after' period. I'd only want to do one after a long enough time that it could be fairly definitive, as much as that is possible. While people are still in the turbulent recently post-release period, I don't think I could even get very good results. If someone else puts one up and the thread it's on seems like one of normal, well-thought-out posts, I'll just compare the results of this poll to that one.

I like polls, y'see. And data. I just want to see if what people think about the candidates 'before' is going to play right through to the 'after', or if some characters will end up being something of a dark horse.

It took me quite a while sitting here to actually pick Ludus. I had to ask myself 'if you HAD to choose a candidate to start the game, like you have to chose your start-up features...who would I pick?' And cornering myself in like that, I was finally able to decide that Ludus would win out by a microscopic amount, for me. I'm looking forward to see if he can possibly maintain that bitty lead, or if Yuzuki will overtake him, or if it's going to be one of the other guys, sneaking up on me totally by surprise...and I'd like to see how that plays out for other people, too. I just love stories and characters, I guess.

Ok, I just voted for Yuzuki, but it was really hard to choose between him and Ludus. I think, at this moment, Yuzuki and Ludus are tied at my number 1 spot, then it is Ford, then Wayne and Hina take tied together, and then Inari is last. So it would look like this

1 and 2. Ludus and Yuzuki TIE
3. Ford
4 and 5. Wayne and Hinata TIE
6. Inari

As far as the bachelorettes, I have not decided if I am making a boy file yet.

I voted Hinata, but it's still a fistfight between him and Yuzuki. At this point I'm just planning to see both of their events up until I can't anymore without dating and decide which one I like better then (« Harvest Goddess » help me if I don't have a clear winner by then .)

But as that's up in the air, i'd say Inari as I like the option of having a 'childfree' candidate. That being said, the DLC Inari kids are also super cute.

That is Lisette, right? I would probably go after her if I play a boy file. I'm not really digging the twins at the moment. Lisette seems cute and sweet, if a little naive, but it's all part of her charm.

I voted Iluka lol. When I do my boy file it's either Iluka or Komari. For the girl file I have zero idea who I want as my hubsando so I didn't wanna vote for one of them. Iluka wins slightly over Komari because I like that kind of personality. Oops? Though who knows... Siluka and Lisette are both pretty cute too...

I voted Siluka. I already am marrying the boys on my copy so want to marry girls first on my English version. I wasn't very interested in her at first but she has really grown on me. Oddly her events make me like Iluka more too so I'll be going after both.

Honestly Ludus and Yuzuki are on par for me. Both getting 50% of my attention. Ludus because my personal preference of something not white skinned (Loved Nadi, Kana, Amir, Sanjay, etc) plus I love his hair style. Yuzuki, on the other hand, is my spirit animal. Well, spirit person.

I voted for Ludus, mostly because he's who I was initially interested in from the start, and because he still catches my attention now. Although for whatever reason, I think Hinata is actually starting to sneak up on me. I haven't spoiled myself on events for any of the characters yet, so I'll just see how it goes.

For SOS I was set on Klaus, but then I unlocked seaweed, figured out it was a good gift for Raeger and the next thing I married him on that file. I feel like I still had no intent on marrying him even when I triggered the confession event, but Klaus ended up being lackluster and I wasn't interested in the other bachelors so I stuck with him. Nadi seemed interesting but I... never actually unlocked him at all. Not in either file.

So, anyways, it'll be interesting to find out who I'll settle for! Most of them are actually interesting. As far as ranking goes, I think it'd be Ludus > Hinata > Ford > Wayne > Yuzuki.

For when I (hopefully) get around to playing as a 'boy' the ranking for bachelorettes is currently Kasumi > Komari > Iluka > Lisette > Siluka. I don't think I'll ever plan on marrying Inari in either file.
