12 styles is a lot, and they're all pretty neat, but...I wish there were even more. I'd love to see something in a German Colonial style. Gothic would be awesome...and Greek Revival would be pretty cool, too.

In this game 'western' style seems to refer to the American 'old west' with cowboy stuff and wagon wheels rather than simply styles of the western world, which from a Japanese standpoint I believe also includes Europe. I'd have loved more European styles...'old west' stuff is extremely not my taste.

I love fancy architecture, so if this game had been packed with a hundred choices, I might have exploded in sheer glee. German is among my favourite, especially the fairytale houses...I also extremely like art nouveau. I feel like in this game, Asian styles are the best represented, but even those could have used more. I'd have loved to see a house that looked something like the Yellow Crane Tower, or maybe the Pagaruyung Palace from Indonesia, which might be a cross of 'asian' and 'tropical'.

Anyway, lots of good styles...but I'd have liked even more. Even fitting everything into 'western', 'tropical' or 'asian' categories...there could have been more, especially in tropical. I'd have loved to see something Moroccan. Okay, so I'm just a greedy fan of architecture, is all. They did give us a lot of pretty houses to choose from. Its just so bewilderingly fun, though, when your choices seem close to endless.

The "western" styles are too stereotypical old west for me too. Colonial, Victorian, Federal, Cape Cod, or Southern Plantation would have been better western styles in my opinion.

Edit: I almost forgot to add Log Cabin.

Favorite exterior is wizard, and favorite interior is country... so I'll probably do those.

Wizard exterior for sure, toss-up between the cat interior and the japanese mansion interior.

I must be the only one that isn't to happy with most of these choices.

I would love the interior of the wizard house, but that living room with the crazy wallpaper is an eyesore. And I dislike gold colored things, like the chairs, as it feels far to gaudy to me. (that gold mansion >.<)

I love the music hall's classiness, but the music theme doesn't really match me or any of the eligible spouses. It seems so random.

I'm really getting tired of the western trope of all things western = cowboys. And the exterior of the country house is horrendous!

The deep sea temple house looks kinda meh on the outside, and the inside is just a bit too bright.


About the only thing I like is the japanese mansion exterior with the japanese modern mansion interior...but...I plan to marry Ludus! Between Ludus dressed in tropical style, our child in western clothes, and me probably in japanese...

...well, we'd certainly be a family representative of the 3 towns.


Kinda wish they had a more neutral, non theme house style. My farm doesn't really feel like it belongs to any one town.

hrm.... didn't read anywhere but for anyone who got the wizard one out of winter.... what is the color of the roof?

as for what i like... wizard, japanese mansion and imperial mansion, tropical though i don't like the inside, music hall i like too.... just dunno what all i'd do... i know in my second game i'm going after yuzuki unless hinata wins me over so there is the japanese one... maybe do wizard with ludus or something

I wonder, since you can mix and match interiors and exteriors, can you just leave the interior as the default?

I really like the undersea - well, everything. The cat one is great, too. This is a hard choice. And the wizard stuff? AWESOME.

I think I'd like the Wizard exterior with the Cat interior. Is that possible? I heard something about being able to do that, but maybe it was just wishful thinking.

Sounds about right my farm should have a demon.

Went hunting all over the internet for a list of every remodel in one place...swear I saw one before. And here it was, in one of my own auto-open with Firefox tabs. It's not info we need daily but when you need it, you NEED it.
