i think i just made my islands host myself, friends, and random fictional characters.
i got together with my high school crushes lol, and i believe someone on my island was romancing hamilton? i'll check later

I love Tomodachi Life so much.
I don't know why but I didn't really ever get bored of it. Even seeing some events over and over, the different characters participating provided new context and kept it fun and interesting for me.
I've restarted a couple of times now, but my islands all contain just a big collection of fictional characters from various outlets. Mostly from video games and anime.
I can't list them all but I had characters from Fire Emblem, Ghost Trick, Rune Factory, the Tales of Series,
Harvest Moon, Log Horizon, Eureka Seven, K Project, Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan, Voltron, as well as more, and some of my original characters.
I've actually been considering picking it back up and starting over again.
I hope we see a sequel some day, there's a lot they could do with the idea. c:
Miitopia looks similar in some respects, and I really hope it gets localized.

ABSOLUTELY! I got the digital download a little while after it was released, but bought the cartridge after my 3DS broke and I lost the data. I had about 6 couples married and my personal Mii was besties with my literal best friend's Mii, which I found really sweet. ^^
The best thing that has happened in my Tomodachi Life file had to be Ganondorf/Ganon & Zelda marrying, and in addition: Ganondorf having Link as his best friend. It was hilarious! Link nodding in approval at their wedding was the best! xD
Also the fact that Zelda was the one who proposed. xDDD
