Anyone play Nintendogs anymore?

All other video games not related to the main farming series - Pokemon, Stardew Valley, My Time at Portia, and other indie-developed games.

I have the game, stopped playing it a year ago, it got repetitive. I have Dalmatian and Friends, and I was wondering, does anyone still have the game? There was a rumour that your dogs can get preggie, but I've tried it for myself, IT DOESN'T WORK. It's all AR codes. Anyway, I have 7 dogs: Spotty (Dalmatian) Millie (Chihuahua) Lucky (Chihuahua) Ellie (Sheltie) Daisy (Golden R.) Charli (Jack Russell) and Ally (Beagle). You may notice they are all girls. If I ever pick it up again, I should get a boy... I'll call it Ash.

I used to but I lost it along with my other old games.

They can't get pregnant, that I definitely remember unless they did an system update on the game.

I've always wanted to try it, but with real life dogs needing my attention I just couldn't justify getting a virtual one. It's probably a great tool for seeing if a kid is ready for one, or if you want to see if YOU are ready for one!

Best part about that is they don't need much attention as real dogs.

I still have my cartridge but I don't play it at all. Too repetitive for me and requires more effort than my real pet (tarantula).

When I started to get bored with it, I literally fed them, and left. All they want is food really. I used to find it fun at the time, but now it's just... meh. Well, I first got it when I was like 6, so obviously I enjoyed it. I still keep it in case I have free time. Has anyone had a dog run away? I wanted a prezzie from one of my dogs, but I couldn't make it go... It's really hard...

It's not that repetitive. It's just not one of those games you're meant to play for months on end.

I own two versions on DS and one on 3DS. I was trying to 100% my DS file and get a Robodog on my 3DS file recently. I'm a bit peeved that the Switch isn't launching with a new version. I worry that it'll skip this gen if it doesn't come out within a year.

I still play my Nintendogs + Cats frequently. I have the French Bulldog and Friends version. My dogs are Moon(Male) white Siberian husky, Sandy(Male) Red Pomeranian, Ookami(Female) Shiba Inu, Toro(Male) Bull Terrier, and my cat Raja(Male) Oriental.
