I'm a little bit irate because my order is due to ship today, and it STILL HASN'T. I'd really rather it not get delayed by a day, even though all that would probably do is make it be on time and not early >.> because I'm so close to Amazon, there's no way it'd take 4 days to get to me if shipped today.
So it's nice to see someone's game just got shipped a bit ago, gives me hope they're still shipping so late during the business day. Though I guess I don't know where Amazon ca. is based, it might have an earlier time zone than PST afterall... I'm used to being the earliest time on the west coast.

Mine was always for the 28th - I never got an e-mail with the dates being changed - and it definitely had the option for the two-day release date Prime shipping.RopeMaidenKirie wrote:Did your shipping estimate originally say the 28th? Or later (like the 6th/7th?) Mine still says it's arriving on the 6th so I'm curious!
I'm really unsure of why the difference; could be that their stock allocation wasn't as big as they thought it would be, day of release, and people who ordered later got the short end of the stick? I did preorder basically as soon as they came available, FWIW.
We've got two warehouses, I think - one in Toronto, and one in Vancouver. I'm in PST, so it's probably coming out from the Van one! It was around 5:30ishpm that I got the notif, so a little later than your average workday.Nurylon wrote:Though I guess I don't know where Amazon ca. is based, it might have an earlier time zone than PST afterall... Oh, cool! Thanks for the info >:3 We're in the same time zone then, actually.MageDragonfire wrote:Mine was always for the 28th - I never got an e-mail with the dates being changed - and it definitely had the option for the two-day release date Prime shipping.RopeMaidenKirie wrote:Did your shipping estimate originally say the 28th? Two doesn't sound like very many (warehouses), I think I see why so many folks came up with an initial later shipping date.
Late night edit:
lol my 'shipping on 24th february' marker changed to a 'shipping soon' marker (because it is 'late' now) and went past where the circle to indicate shipping was

I find that funny for some reason.
My order switched to this too this morningNurylon wrote: Late night edit:

"We have no idea when it's going to ship! But it'll be soon!"
Yeah, ditto on the Prime membership. There's also an Amazon warehouse right in my sleepy little suburb, which means I usually get new games right on time, no more, no less. Not having to wait is nice, but since inclement weather isn't often an issue here, I never get games early because they shipped earlier in anticipation of a delay. And my delivery guys usually show up between 3pm and 8pm, so no way am I waiting that long to play. Digital goes live at 9am PST which is 10 for me so that would be at least five extra hours of torture and I don't think I could take it.ryume wrote:Mine hasn't shipped yet, but I've also had an Amazon Prime account ever since the program started, so they usually won't ship my 2-day release date stuff until Sunday night, or in some cases, Monday.
I check all my amazon.ca order so often that I see the 'shipping soon' status on almost all of them, sooner or later. All it seems to mean is that it's been shifted to packaging or loading or something, and will be sent out within 24 hours. That's my experience, anyway. If we have anyone who works in an amazon fulfillment centre we'd know for sure.
Mine still does NOT say 'shipping soon', so I suspect they are going to keep their word and not ship until March 3rd for an at-earliest arrival date of March 7.
Digital copy, here I come! (Physical copy, I hope my sister loves you!)

Agreed. UPS usually shows up around 17:30, so I think I will be purchasing a digital copy as well lol.Arcy wrote:And my delivery guys usually show up between 3pm and 8pm, so no way am I waiting that long to play.
