Heads up for anyone who ordered from Gamestop: you might be able to pick up the game midnight on Tuesday. There's a game called Horizon being released the same night and my local gamestop said they would go ahead and hand out SoS as well so people can show up just for that.

IDk where they ordered it from but someone has a copy already.
According to them they got banned by Nintendo for 3 days when they played a leaked copy online they had played early, heads up.

Based on wording it looks like they had just played normal ealy and then multiplayer after it came out so... Worried some for early obtainers tbh. I keep hearing more and more about Nintendo cracking down so it's not completely unbelievable?

I mean when there were the issues of pirated stuff with online play I was like well yeah you're trying to get caught but... This is harmless. Who gets hurt by this? IDK feels a bit much to me. At least it was only 3 days but... IDEK

Now I'm sacred of getting it early at all...

I think if you get it early, you should be fine as long as you don't play it online until the official release day. At least that's what it sounds like to me.

Yeah, I hear you. I doubt I will get mine early. I've only gotten one order early and it was a book not many people cared about, haha.

ugh, so I was all set for the digital release on Tuesday, which would have been at 6pm where I live.
I've known for a while that my mom and my brother were going to visit my grandparents (because of my grandfathers birthday) around the 1st of March, but so far we weren't sure if I would come along, since I might start a new job on the 1st of march (but now it looks more like I'll start at around 15th). So anyway, now I'm coming as well and asked, when we would drive there (it's a three hours drive) and my mom says Tuesday at around 6pm WHICH IS WHEN THE GAME IS RELEASED!!!
So after panicking a bit, especially because my grandparents don't have good internet and I can't download it there, I convinced my mom to leave at around 7pm, which should be enough for me to download the game before we leave

I still don't have a delivery date

*whew* Glad you convinced your mom in time, Ophelia Having the game with you should be fun.

I've got a week's worth of food prepared in advance and today I'll be doing some errands then scrubbing the house down so that there's nothing for my sis to complain about if I play and play all week after I get the game I'm really glad the digital option is being released concurrently with the physical copy.

thanks, though I didn't tell her the actual reason why we can't leave at 6pm. My mom is pretty relaxed in general but she would not understand why we have to leave later for a 3 hour drive just so I can download a game.
Fortunately (for this situation) I have to write some term papers and one is a group project and since we all don't live close to each other we have to skype now and then. I told her, that since the deadline is coming up, we had a skype-date scheduled for Tuesday and the earliest I can do that is 6.30pm and that I would then be done by 7pm. Now I just have to talk a bit to myself on Tuesday while the game downloads and I'm set haha

Wow a weeks worth of food.. kind of admire that! I only went as far as "We should move ribs to Tuesday so dinner is easy to make" Just stick it in the oven for a couple hours and we good~

lol that's awesome. Seriously happy for you though that you will be able to dl it before the drive. Esp a 3 hour drive. Are you the type to be able to play in the car? I used to be able to but now I get carsick.

thanks yeah, I used to play a lot during car drives when I was younger. I haven't really done that the last few years, but I hope I won't get sick (I do get sick when I read too long)

A little off topic, but I can recommend ginger gravol. Unlike regular Gravol it doesn't make you sleepy, but it works pretty well for motion sickness (my sister once gave some to a fellow passenger on a flight and in no time they perked right up...and my other sister takes it for car trips that she doesn't want to be knocked-out for.) Don't know if that will help for gaming while in a car or not, though...but it's just ginger so it shouldn't be able to hurt anything to try it. (Unless you can't tolerate ginger, of course.)

HlaineL, lol...well, I want to play Trio to my heart's content as soon as I have it downloaded, without a sadface sister moping about the house because she doesn't have anything nice and fresh to eat. I can just shut the 3DS and go do what's needed when needed, of course, my life's schedule is pretty flexible, but...I want to minimize the amount of times that has to happen at least for a few days. Just in case it's so riveting that closing my 3DS on Trio makes me the sadface sister in the house.
