Anyone playing Sims want to share their stories?
I've been playing a lot of Sims 4 this week!

working on a legacy challenge/story at the moment. Just going hella, hella slow.

Don't have any pics ready at the moment, but may post them later. I've got all the packs and recently have become a cc addict. :'))))

I used to play a lot of Sims 2.

Creating characters and houses was my favourite thing to do, I never really played because I liked creating stuff too much. (mods really added to my creating experience, it was great)

I should reinstall my game sometime soon.

Ahhh Sims. I played Sims 1, 2, and 3, then went off Sims 3 and went back to Sims 2 and I still love it. I haven't tried Sims 4 because honestly I feel like EA are getting horribly lazy. ): So unpolished. And eXPENSIVE.

I love building houses! And making families that continue on for several generations. I almost always give my sims the 'family' aspiration - it's just become a force of habit now lol. I haven't played for a while but I've been getting the urges. For as long as I can remember, I've been in this cycle of playing Sims for hours every day, then getting sick of it and not playing for months, then getting back into it again etc. I can't even imagine how many hours I've put into it over the years.

Earlier Sims I played, but the later ones are just too expensive to get everything (and of course I want everything). Just checked Sims 3 on STEAM and to get the game and DLC is $400. Ouch! Can't imagine what the total game of Sims 4 is running. I mean I know I'd like it ... maybe too much, but I just can't justify that price. I also don't have good feelings about EA or Origins either so I'm just leaving it alone for now.

I love seeing what others create though in characters and homes.

I've played a lot of 3 Pets on the 3ds, and 2 Pets on the GameCube.

On the 3ds version, it said I could make a pets-only household, and I thought that sounded fun.
...Within five minutes, there were bills I couldn't pay, garbage spread everywhere, and the lot was on fire.

I have The Sims 2, Sims 3, and Sims 4. I got started with the first Sims on the GameCube (miss it, I wish I didn't get rid of it!) and got back into it with Sims 3.

The best story I have with the Sims 3 is of TRAGEDY! Great tragedy I say! My sim had max mechanical skill so I sent him to repair a TV. He DIED of electrocution! His wife was sad! I don't remember much after that; I think they had a son and he was sad, but not that much.

I miss making my own towns and neighborhoods in Sims2, and populating them with fandoms characters. But I have to say, the vacationing/exploring in Sims3 is pretty awesome.

Granted, Sims is definitely that game where you bingeplay it for a few weeks and then put it down for a year or so....

I love Sims games! Sims 3 won't work on my laptop anymore, unfortunately. I'll get to the loading screen and *POOF* my computer restarts itself. But Sims 4 runs like a dream, so... I'm a tad confused. :c

I loved Sims 3 so much, too. ;-;

Used to sit beside my bestie and we'd play our Sims 3 families and it was so much fun! She would put so much effort into her character's backstory to why her sim looked that way, or if she wanted the sim to have a specific job, or was one of the supernatural types. I always would help her with name inspiration. (She sometimes helped me with last names, and vice versa. ^^)

I really miss those days. I do want to get a gaming computer, though. Or a laptop that can work with using a lot of memory in a game. (Example: Overwatch.)

But I'm hoping to upgrade before or after Nintendo Switch (Which I won't be able to get right away due to an anime con I'm going to taking up all the funding I'm saving. And my birthday's July 2nd, so I plan on putting some of my money towards then, to add to the birthday funding, and get it then.)

You know, waiting for something may drive me (and I'm sure a lot of other people) crazy... But it just makes it even more special when you're able to celebrate being able to get whatever you'd been going crazy over. (In my case, Nintendo Switch.)

It was the open world and vast customization options that just made Sims 3 a huge game for most (non-gaming) computers to run. A lot of folks couldn't play hte game due to the sheer amount of stuff it needed in order to be able to run, so they scrapped open world + the color wheel + other stuff and now Sims 4 can run on most computers. It is only individual lots/households that are loaded at once, versus a whole neighborhood with sims running around a huge space.

It sucks cause Sims 3 was a great game and was able to do so many things, but at the end of the day most folks could barely play it (especially since it was full to the brim with glitches).

I'm still playing 2, never liked 3 as much but I am tempted by 4. Currently doing a legacy challenge: the fifth generation has just been born. Twins called Lauren and Laurel (though I accidentally named the boy Lauren, whoops) and then a baby called Larry - I'm running out of ideas for 'L' names! Now I'm rebuilding their house and garden to make it fancier and include a family graveyard - I want to get them into the garden club... the grandma has just got a gold medal in toymaking and the mum is working on her sewing skill so she can make clothes for all the kids. I want them to have a dozen and be really miserable. I'm sending all my 'spares' to college so I can make them have inter-generational marriage and see what the genetics come out like.

I may post some pics of my new, improved house! But usually I use pre-builts so it will probably look like junk.

@Ronin your TRAGEDY reminded me of my worst game! I forgot to install fire alarms and the child died during a birthday party when the oven caught on fire. Then they had another kid with the same name, who died of hunger because everything was in the red and they insisted on washing before they ate. I am better at keeping them happy, now! It's actually gotten a little boring because it's too easy, but I invent better backstories for them instead.

RANDOM but I'm currently doing a story based on this sims legacy challenge I've been doing. Only got 2 chapters in so far but if anyone wants to read it. HIT ME UP.

Aunng sims3 was so damn good... Sims4 is,, ok. I miss a lot of the S3 features
