I filled up my basement cellar with maple trees to get those trophies, and less than a season later my maple syrup is 5* . I found out that the maple trees give maple branches when chopped down, and they count as lumber. When I chopped down about 5 or 6 trees and collected the branches, I got a trophy for lumber collecting, so that was a pleasant surprise. Now time to replace all 42 plots with bamboo seedlings...
Good luck! I've been working on the trophies as well. Not sure if I can stick with it to get 100%. I may give up on the fishing, and wild animal ones.
/more good luck celebratory cheers/
I've considered purposefully working on the trophies... I already have about half of them done just naturally, but it would definitely give me more to do, and give purpose to my cellar. I decided not to use it for my regular flower planting because then I would really damage my total playtime value of the game, but I could use it for crop trophies, yes!
I used the cellar for flowers because it makes getting cloth little easier. Not to mention bee keeping. There's plenty of space down there.
My worry is that I'll burn out on this file. I've been thinking of starting a miracle file as soon as I collect all recipes and outfits. It'll depend on how long that takes. If the trophies are about done by then I'll be more likely to complete them.
So far my cellar's main room is just bamboo saplings. My east room has 1 of every type of spring crop, as I am maxing out their stats with mega fertilizers and mega fertilizer water. Same with the west room, except it contains 1 of every type of summer crop.
Hate how the sun stone menu is all buggy with typo's. Every time I switch out the stone, I have to pause for a beat to tell what season it really selected. Oh well.
Still have bamboo in my Spring cellar and just planted like 10 tea bushes for that trophy.
Slowly turning my massive hatchery from pearls to fishies since I'm fishing up 5* fish. Pink star fishies on the way! Why are there so many different fish?
Saw Inari's tea party event finally - didn't take much fox friendship. Working on sparrow now for Yaichi's one.
Moved my extra llama to the main farm for my furmiliar to herd (it's working!). May level up the furmiliar's skill level this way - pointed a cat statue at her house too.

Slowly but surely.
Ohh, if your animals are in the main farm your furmiliar will herd them still?!
I get by the typo by having only one sun in my bag. That way it has to use that one for the altar. I'm also working on maxing spring, summer and winter crops. My fall trees are in hibernation at the moment while the winter sun is in. Once those crops are maxed I should be getting fall tea and fruits again. Then I'll switch out my paddies for fields for the winter crops on my main farm area.
I have trees and tea on the far edge from the watering hole in each of my rooms. So I have a 5x6 rectangle for flowers and crops. It seems to work out. I plant the crops I need to max along with grains and cotton for the trophy.
Mkay...so..after a bit of thinking... I decided I'd like the magical home exterior... but like everyone, Im lacking the same materials... not to mention Im kinda stuck on the eastern mansion abit...

Yup. They won't go to other farm zones to herd. So I made a small barn close to the pet house just so she can work up her skill number.
After getting the game on day one, I am finally about to reach year 2 lol
My MC got engaged to Ford on the last sunny day of the year, won the Expert Harvest competition two days later against Mr. D, clearing Dadvice 3 in the process. About to pick her town for the New Year's celebrations, really happy about that first year.
Can't wait to see the credits, the cellar and the wedding, squee!!!
Slowly, but surely, I'm slowly progressing through the game and really liking the ride
Ludus proposed to Coco at around seven in the morning. Not uncommon for a town that opens their shops the earliest. But I'm super excited to see him in his wedding attire!!

Congratulations!
To get married I need:
-Wayne's pink event
-Wedding ring
-house upgrade with the bathroom
Just got the Music Club house interior. It's AWESOME. I love how the kitchen looks, and the instruments look cool...shame you can't play them, though...for now. *crosses fingers for DLC where you can recruit Frank and Miranda and start a band*
And the record player! Only 4 songs, but still, it's cool.

I'm working on getting the Music Club Exterior to match. The Music Club is just plain awesome inside and out. I just want to take the saxophone off the wall and start jamming.
Games don't often make me teary eyed - not since Persona 3 and 4 but the Hector and Colin friend events nearly got me going and almost wishing Hector was a hidden bachelor despite his age! (I'm more than old enough after all!)
