Rejoice

, because according to the Fogu guide, winning lower-level prizes once the prize pool is depleated is a thing:
http://fogu.com/sos2/events/festivals/index.html
Once you win all of the prizes from a rank you'll start winning prizes from the lower rank; win all the prizes from the veteran rank to start automatically winning prizes from the expert rank while still participating in veteran-rank competitions. If there isn't a pool of prizes anymore, you'll receive random item prizes.
Neat, no need to hear more comments on how I could go for a harder rank lol

This is good news for me. It would get kind of boring if I had to enter a lower rank just for the prizes.

Won against Mr. D on Winter 30 Year 1, got my first rolling credits! Yay! And finally on to Spring Year 2.
With that done, off to unlocking those Town Locks and I gotta say, these are no easy feats. All Town are locked to B but I might unlocked Tsuyukusa first.

Glad I'm saving those thyme, only 8 more to go. XD
Hmmm... Better marry off my MC with Yuzuki soon. I am hoping this will be the game that I could see my pixelated baby.

Yuzuki's Pickled radishes, Hinata's ginger, and Umekichi's shiso carried me to the promised land in the green tea Beverage Bash. FP can make some terrible concotions taste amazing, apparently.

I don't even. Come on man. Pickles, in a tea? The pickles we have around our house are all deliciously spicy. Yes, spicy. It's called Achaar though... I guess Japanese pickles aren't as spicy or something.
What is shiso? Is it a leaf? I can't tell. I put it in my green tea team too... but my other companions were a herb and a tea leaf.
Ginger is fine... maybe. I thoroughly dislike the strong taste of ginger.

Bah. Finally got enough Rosemary for the Winery, made a batch of wine, shipped it then realized the next day that I forgot to change the shipping destination to Westown. Pffft. Luckily, I still have plenty of fruit so I can make more wine, but that was still annoying. *kicks self*

If you do run out of fruit, remember that in Lulukoko, fruit stall exists. 6am to 10am, and 17:00 to 21:00 (or is it 22:00?)

It's a leaf. Green shiso (immature ones) are used in tempura and sushi (wrapped around oilier fish like hamachi in nigiri) - I <3 green shiso. Mature shiso is used to make ume (preserved plum) sometimes. Very unique flavor.
But in tea...iunno. Guess it could work.

Ume plum is preserved plum?
Who is scattering them all over Tsuyukusa?
Thanks for the info. That's interesting information.

I decided to go for Ludus events first. Because his favourite dish is easier to get. Needs chilli peppers, but chilli peppers grow fast, unlike Yuzuki's favourite dish which needs mugwort (only gatherable in spring) and the adzuki beans... which are a grain crop.

I thought this was the best place instead of starting a new thread. I checked on google, didn't see anything.
But, is there anything to Uncle Frank's mentioning of a ghost like in AP?

Gotta say I was pretty entertained when I got all five bachelorettes to a green heart and got an achievement for it saying "Most Eligible Bachelor"

Heya. does anyone know why Ludus wont ask to forage on his days off? He hasn't in awhile. Actually, it might have been since Ruellia grew up.

I sometimes have to talk to him a couple times to get the option.
ETA: The Thyme curse continues. Almost to fall in my second file, and I have not seen a single one on the ground. The whopping total of two I have I got through treasure hunting.

That's the raw plum fruit. Same name, I guess. They make the preserved plum from ume. And also ume-shu, a sweet liquor (yum but knocks you on your butt when you're a little kid. hey, it tasted like juice!).

Never heard of anything like that in this game. But then I don't talk to Frank too much.
