Yeah, I know.

But these were trees I hadn't moved in the cellar yet.

Growing crops in soft soil is really nice.

Whatever, I'm over it now. No other storms came after those 3. Plus everything will eventually grow in the cellar.

Just wanted to post here to share that I harvested my first gold crop!

I'm.. not sure what to do with it, it's probably going to sit in my storage unless I can use it to get more golden crops? Anyway, I was collecting my sweet potatoes for the day, saw one was yellow-y and a little weirded out, but then saw that I had a gold sweet potato!

My miracle file has taught me a few things. Not least of which that 7 mill+ gold and full hearts makes it a LOT easier to town rank. I'm in Summer year 1 on it and up to C((lock))/D((lock))/D((almost lock)).

I'm buying more crop types than I did starting before, and in fact I have pretty nice wheat already even though I didn't buy wheat seeds until mid year 2 or so before.

I got my first storm in it though, sucks but what can ya do?

Annoyed at how hard it is to get hammer upgraded, really need it.

I got my Farm Tips #2 completed. I also got my third house upgrade and my textile machine farm circle. I'm at the end of Fall Year 1 and Ford and I are still newly weds. I also got Lulukoko to C rank.

Now, I'm just working towards C rank for Tsuyukasa. It's locked. And I'm trying to get the King-sized bed.

For the King-sized bed all I need after lumber and everything is Wool+ (plus) and blue flax thread, right? Will Suffolk sheep wool work? It's the only wool-producing animal I have. I raise the byproduct level with crispy treats, right? Also, Tsuyukasa doesn't sell flax seeds until rank B, right?

I just got the game a few days ago, but I'm already almost done with spring. This game seems to be a lot more fun than SoS1 or ANB were. I got bored of both of those really quickly. I know one of the things I didn't like about SoS1 was the lack of a shipping bin. Otherwise I might have found it more fun. Holding on to all that stuff was really annoying and I think it sort of killed the game for me. ANB I got bored because I just seemed like there wasn't a lot to do until you got to build stuff, and even then it seemed like it went by really slowly. I think I like having the populated towns. Makes the game feel more alive.

Anyway, getting ready for summer right now by increasing the amount of fields I have. I started with Tycoon and I'm glad I did. The extra money came in handy. Was able to get a cow and a chicken within the first week, and was able to do the first house upgrade right away when it became available which was nice. I've been selling all of the gems I get from the mining points to get some extra cash. I'm sitting at over 100k now, so I think I'll start hoarding them instead of selling them. I know they're needed for a bunch of stuff later. I'm also almost at the D-lock for Westown, but the E-lock for Lulukoko seems to be taking a while to get to, even though I'm shipping them stuff. The D level for Westown seemed to fly by and I wasn't even shipping them anything. I think it's because I do more of the part-time jobs for them, and because I eat at their restaurant a lot to recover stamina.

I'm just glad I found a game that I like. I feel like the last game I really enjoyed was IoH (didn't play SI), so I'm glad to have another one to enjoy again. :)

I need ONE MORE FISH for one fishing spot, and the thing won't spawn. All season fish, too. Good weather. Bad weather. Festival day. Nothing. Just give me the fish, RNG!

Ugh, didn't realize festival day is a good fishing day. Inari said it's gonna snow in Lulu so I was all excited but it was a festival day so it was all sunny. I was all salty and didn't even fish. >_<

Now I gotta wait for a winter storm.

Wow, winning the Pet promenade must have pushed a bachelor to light green level, because I just got this trophy. While married

Glad to know it's not missable after marriage

So while trying out the treasure hunt things with a few pets, I was also curious to see how certain people would react to them.

Seeing different dialogue in response to pets/wild animals is one of my favourite things that I do at the end of the game, once I feel like I've done everything else. It's nice to see brand new dialogue again at the end.

I've actually been able to play a lot this week and am mid-Winter Year 1 now.

On Valentine's Day, I got Hector and Colin's event about the cookies. And I ate cookies with them. And it was like it was a Valentine's Day gift for me. T_T Hector, let me marry you...!

I'm now only missing the green event for Yuzuki and light blue, drak blue, and green for Hinata. (Hinata has been at dark blue a lot longer than Yuzuki, I just can't get his light blue event to trigger...)

I'm still having a good bit of fun with the game. Looking forward to trying to get Ludus's reverse confession, although I feel kind of ambivalent about it now, like maybe I should just stay single, ha. (Or go for Ford. ...the only one I had absolutely no interest in at the beginning.)

I feel pretty stupid right now.

For some reason I thought the boxes farm circles was to change your boxes that were inside. So I have 2 boxes I have no reason to use since space/do not want random boxes and a ton of disappointment that my indoor boxes are ugly.
