I finally unlocked Tsuyukusa, and this game went from "It's only 1500, I'm done, I'm bored..." to "Holy « Puppy Doodoo » it's 1900?! How the hell did THAT happen? Aaaaaagh!"
Also.
Big Barn.
HOLY HELL THAT'S A SIZE JUMP! From a little 1x2 to a full 3x3!
Someone please tell me the coop doesn't do the same thing, or there'll be no room for crops!

I actually like it the way it is now. Each animal produces far more than it did in the original SoS, so it really saves time on feeding/shearing/milking/etc. Think of one animal as being four old ones compressed together.

On another note, I also won a stone tablet from the contest. Which magically appeared after I checked Mithra's memos. Of course.
It is SO obvious who Mr. D is that I'm not going to be surprised when he's finally unmasked.
Does he eventually get unmasked?
Edit: I mean it is obvious, but I hope the MC isn't all surprised by it. Hate it when they do that.
What, I think that you know... how should I say it? It's obvious to us as the players, but maybe the MC can't do it, because you tend to have this image of people you build in your head, and if they do something you think they can't, you just won't see it.

Treat types are unlocked once you win or participate in the beginner rank animal contest.

Also, mom came for a visit! Yaaaay!
So goood! Her favourite thing is Cinnamon Rolls. She says.
And I unlocked Inari. One of the funniest scenes ever in this series.
The fall theme is so good. It's such an improvement over the last theme I almost cried. I hated the last fall theme (SoS).

I think I'm one of the few that liked SoS's fall theme. Oh well
Mr. D = WAY obvious, ugh. I kicked his butt with a 2 star tomato! Finally unlocked Yuzuki (I had forgotten he moves in on Summer 26 and unknowingly got his intro on summer 27 at like 22:00 LOL) and about to head into Fall 1 to meet Inari.
Ludus is sweet and awkward as Fin pointed out, in a very different way than Ford, of course. Can't wait until I get to Fall 17 so I can continue his events.

How did you guys go about gathering the lumber for the first house upgrade? I've only seen one branch so far, and the broadleaf trees I cut down just give me twigs. I'm playing veteran so I'd prefer not to have to buy the lumber, but I guess if I have to then I have to.

You don't have any soft wood trees on your farm? I think you can also buy lumber from the material store right away, although it's expensive.
Is it sad one of my favorite things in this game is the little yellow chatty face to indicate someone is speaking? I find it terribly cute for some reason

It took me one game day to figure out that there's softwood trees on your farm. One tree should be more than enough as it gave me 17 branches. However I'm on seedling.
