Like how in Story of Seasons, Ibuki and Minori wound up being known as Johnny and Annie, in ANB, Rio and Hart became Rachel and Henry, and so on.

I'm not sure who decides how "official" these English names are, how many are fan-based and how many are confirmed by Marvelous/XSeed - but for Kanata and Nanami (I think those are their names, right?), I'm just wondering if we have any English names for them yet.

...And if they're fan-determined, I wonder HOW that gets determined...

I thought it showed that at the very start of the game when you customize your character. At least I thought Holly was feMC official name since it was the default one.

Yep. The official names are Holly and Henry.

The female farmer's default name is Holly, funny how that was what I named my farmer in the original Story of Seasons, but I wasn't planning to carry that name to this title anyway as I feel that name is better suited to my OC there.

Your family's name has been changed in the localized version too. Darius has been changed to Daryl, Marina is now Marlena, and Linne is Lynn. Honestly, I think I prefer the original names, but hey it's whatever.

Henry? That's weird - that's the same name people use for the ANB male farmer.

Any proof of that? Seems pretty widely-accepted that he's called Johnny. I've never seen "Daniel" anywhere.

In the Eu version of the game it says Daniel for me on the male character creation screen. I wish I could take screens but I can't :/

Interesting that they would change that from location to location. I wonder what the reasoning behind that was?

Johnny is a slang word for condom here, so I imagine that's why.
