Letting animals out daily?

Thonky says if you let animals outside 2 days in a row, it will increase their stress.
I have found the opposite to be true. In the game, they even tell you that one hour of outside time daily is the best way for your animals to live (barring bad weather.) And to take them in at night.
I have been getting no stress problems from leaving my animals out day after day, except for one time when I forgot to let them in at night and they were out all night, with the next day being sunny. I put them inside the full day that day, fed them as usual, let them out the next day, all was well. I missed an egg but chickens won't lay eggs outside, that's why.
Has anyone found any evidence to Thonky's assertion being true? I'd like to make sure I'm not harming my animals (but it really looks like I'm not.)

I think they probably mean leaving your animals outside overnight. It doesn't make sense that your animal would gain stress from going outside.

For context, here is their full quote:
" You can push cows out of the barn in clear weather, and pick up chickens and put them outside in clear weather, to allow them to graze. Grazing every other day lowers the animals' stress. However, grazing every day increases their stress, so be sure not to put them out every day.
Animals will get sick or stressed if they are put outside in rain, typhoons, or blizzards, or if they are left outside at night. "

I interpreted that as barefaced "every other day, don't ever do 2 in a row." But I'm glad to know that the thing that made no sense when i read it actually does not make sense to anyone else, either. It seemed like a weird departure from previous HMs, especially with pets who herd daily.

I've been letting my chicken out every day and it's stress is at 0.
The only time letting it out caused stress was the time I forgot to put it back in the coop before I went to bed.

As soon as I get out of bed I care for animals, put them to graze, then get on with watering crops and take a stroll around towns to speak to everyone, when I finish this I place animals back inside and go to bed.
It has been working great from first day, my chicken heart level is skyrocketing compared to the cow, I think it's her personality.
Even with the extra friendship boost from the brush, my cow can never keep up with the chicken, and I bought both at same time.

Since you can water crops twice, isn't it better to water them first and then take care of the animals, then go about your day and before you sleep, water your crops again?
