And I feel ridiculously awesome and patriotic doing it.

At first I thought it was a turkey, then it started flying and I thought it was a vulture.

At first I thought it was an owl (the only other animal to fly in a recent HM game was the pet owl from TOTT, or the wild birds I guess). Can't wait to see what other crazy wild animals are around the other two towns.

I was so excited by this I called my husband in from another room to show him. XD

When I saw that I went, "No way!" Can you really pick up a bald eagle? Sure enough -- you can.

Colin liked me showing him the bald eagle, and he was super cute. I have too much fun running through town holding the bald eagle and singing overly patriotic songs.

When I went to pick it up, it took off and flew in circles. I get the feeling the eagle doesn't like me...

Haha, yeah same here. I wasn't sure if I was actually able to pick it up. Cool stuff.

I love the eagle. I find the variety of wildlife in this game to be very refreshing.

Maybe we're just not patriotic enough. Though it's kind of hard to take the towns seriously. The two I have unlocked look sort of like a theme park sections. This is one's Old West Land and the other is Jungle Land. I'm enjoying the game, please don't get me wrong. Just can't shake the feeling that the MC's farm is in Disney World.

I was kind of excited. I picked it up, and was like "MURIKA!!" Come to think of it, it is 6 characters and would work for a name of something... hehe. I wonder if the eagle can become your furmiliar in the future of the game? Or if it's just limited to the cats/dogs/capybara.

I haven't officially unlocked my farm yet, but now I'm thinking "Epcot Farm" sounds... right.
