Has anyone else noticed that when you complete the job, you get more money than it said you would? Like when I'm chopping wood it says I'm going to get 150, but instead I get about 240. I'm playing on Veteran mode and my personality is animal lover. Also, I don't have any meal bonuses. It does it for every job, too.

I haven't noticed that big of an increase, but yes I've seen it every time. Usually so far I only get 10g extra (so, if they promised 100g I get 110g) but I've only done about 6 jobs so far. Maybe you get a larger bonus the more jobs you do...

From the guide:

The greater your day job degree (which increases as you do more jobs), the larger the multiplier applied to the base pay once you complete the job. You also get a small pay bonus based on the current Town Link Rank.

So as you keep doing jobs, you'll get more money

The actual reward depends on 2 things, the rank of the town and your own part time job rank (the trophies).

The town rank add a fixed amount to the base,
E 10G
D 20 G
C 50 G
B 100 G
A 150 G
S 200G

Then that base is multiplied depending on how many jobs you've done.

So 240 is probably 150G with town rank E and between 10 and 50 jobs done?

Ford gave me 10 coffees in addition to more $ than posted as well, handy as it was just before Wayne's b-day.

Also found it helpful if you take all the delivery jobs you can fulfill at once and do the Westown ones then start one of the Lulucoco ones that start immediately (like picking weeds/chopping wood). It saves you walking time as it warps you over to the other town. If that makes sense

So just to be clear, first you deliver the Westown packages. After that's done, you use the Lulucoco wood chopping job as a transporter to that town. Then deliver the rest to the residents there. Clever.

Ford said something like "I look forward to next time" and gave me a plant.

It was a Bay Leaf (but I was hoping for it to be Thyme)

was a bit desperate tbh as I'd been lulled by only having one town to deal with and was running all over the place trying to accommodate the different store hours between the two. Will be even more hectic once Tsuyukusa unlocks XD

My rank was still on E but I got 2010g on a job that pays 1500g. Although Ford took out almost all my stamina in the process so I'll consider that money compensation.

When Ford's medicine lowers your stamina, he gives you 500G extra.
