How do you get Wool plus and better milk? Is it how many times you give it treats? Or Grazing? Sorry if this has been answered before.

You need to give them the appropriate food/treats. Each of them gives +10 points to the associated parameter (+15 if the animal has the right trait). You start getting +products once that parameter gets to 350. But at that point, each product you get has a very low chance of being +. If your animal gives 20 products, you will only get 1 or 2. Increasing the level (which you can see in the animal information screen) increases the probability of each product becoming +. For instance, when you get between 900 and 999 points, there is a 50% chance of a product being +, so (if it produces 20 at once) you usually get between 7 and 13 + products (in other words, 10 +products in average, but since it is random sometimes you get less than 5 or more than 15 +products). 1000 points will give you only + products.

I could be wrong, but was it the pink treats that increase the '+' productivity?

In some other topics someone said it is Active, but I'm not sure. All my animals are Timid (bonus to number of products), and I play the japanese game, so I don't know the exact english trait names.

I think you are right, but I don't remember right now. In any case, it should say it in the description of the treat when you are buying it from the vendor.

If you look to the corresponding animal page (looking into the book inside the barn), you will see that it says how many products it gives and the level of coat and product quality. 20 is the maximum number of products and (at least in the japanese game) the max. level for coat and product quality is S (E->D->C->B->A->S), so you can easily see when you maxed that parameter.

After taking part in one animal festival, the animal vendor sells more types of food and treats. And taking part in 3 unlocks even more food (I'm not sure about treats).

Timid: # of products +
Active: product * level +
Gentle: coat/appearance +
Cheerful: animal friendship +
Calm: animal health +

I have a cow and a chicken with the Timid personality.

EDIT: the treats used to increase the by-product amount are the chewy treats. They are white. Dessie just gave me some as a reward for finding bugs, but I believe once you participate in an Animal Festival, the Birds and Beasts shop in Tsuyuska will sell them.
