Every time I try to go online the game keeps telling me that my parental controls are blocking me even though I've never even set them up on my 3DS. I double checked my settings just to make sure as well.

Anyone know how I can get past this issue?

You might have to set them up anyways and make sure to disable any wireless play blocker settings. I've run into the issue with Animal Crossing and that was the only way to fix it.

Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a try tonight.

On another note is there a way for me to access the multiplayer island by myself? I just want to use that stone plinth for random items and I'd feel bad inviting/kicking people each time.

No problem! Might be something else, but it's one of those system error pop-ups it might be that.

Also, I don't think so? Your best bet would probably be to get a friend/someone on the forums to help you out if you don't want to play with strangers. Like I said though, don't know for sure but haven't seen a solo mode.

Id weigh on you feeling guilty for just being in it for the plinth and say most people don't seem to feel bad about it?
And it doesn't kick anybody out when the host leaves.
In most of the ones i did last night (about 20 or so?) and i think i'd say almost every time everyone just used the plinth and left. I usually catch a few fish before leaving since it doesn't take stamina and its a little extra $$ in case i didn't get stuff to sell from the plinth.

Ah cool, it helps if people like me are that common. I was just worried about having to constantly ditch on people actually looking for multiplayer partners.

I've done a lot of multiplayer myself, really most people are there to use the plinth. I've only run into like one or two people who go fishing and a couple people who emote spam.

Edit: Just woke up and realized I'm regurgitating what was said, oops.
