Leftover Crops Won't Go Away

Try using the sickle several time to clear them out. Edit: saw that you wrote that you used it multiple times. Are they growing on your plot? Try going to the farm edit screen and pick up and put the plots away to see if it resets the crops

What color are they? I've had brown, wilted crops that takes al lot of swings with the sickle before they disappear.
If worst comes to worst, you could always use the Fun Time Work Bench to edit your farm, and put the fields in your inventory to delete the crop, then replace the field back to your farm. The dead plants should hopefully disappear then.
